Everything in the box!

All the bakeries featured in this box have there little introduction with their web address so you can order more of your favourites!

A second card tells us a bit more about all the sweets we get to discover.

An in-depth ingredients list is also included for all of the items on the reverse. I appreciate that, it’s easier to avoid whatever could contain an allergen. Although, one was confusing for me at first: The PB Brownie Tart. I’m so used to read all the ingredients first to avoid peanuts that I’ve skipped the name of the tart. (No harm’s done, but I wished the peanuts were included in the list of ingredients.)

PB Brownie Tart by Buttertarts to die for. Oh my, that was sooooo tasty! I love buttertarts (they remind me of one of my favourite dessert when I was younger, the Sugar Pie!) and I was so excited to see on in this box. The peanut taste is pretty light, but it was soft, gooey, but not too gooey, and the right amount of sweetness. My only complaint is about the list of ingredients for this tart. I wish the peanut would have been included in the list of ingredients.

Date Square by The BakeryNice date square, it’s quite sweet and the date flavour was delightful.

Queen Liz by The Bakery. Very similar, but at the same time quite different from the Date Square. The coconut was a bit too much for me compare to the great taste of the Date Square, but by itself, it was good! Soft, sweet, sticky, very nice.

Cookies ‘N Cream Crackcorn by The Pop Shop. Sweet chocolate covered popcorn, oh yes! The coating gave the popcorn a softer bite than freshly made popcorn (no kidding!), but it was delicious and we didn’t have enough of it for the two of us!

Vanilla Sugar cookie and meringues by Unity Baking. The meringues were so fluffy, and they perfectly melt in the mouth! The cookie? My husband stole it, didn’t share with me, but said it was the perfect sugar cookie. He loves the simplicity of a good sugar cookie.

This box was great! My favourite was the buttertart, while my husband’s was the sugar cookie. We liked the variety of goodies, from date square to the sweet popcorn! As I mentioned earlier, I hope that in the future, the list of ingredients would be more accurate. I know, I should have known that PB stands for Peanut Butter, but it’s not something I knew before tasting the tart. But overall, such a great box!

Shipping is actually $9.99, not free, which is important to note since that makes a big difference in the price.

Thanks for that update! There was an ownership change and we probably missed updating the directory.
