Mommy Mailbox is a women’s lifestyle subscription box with 4-6 surprise items. The name of the box evokes images of pacifiers and diapers, but the box is simply curated to satisfy any hardworking woman, which is really all of us isn’t it?

Each monthly Mommy Mailbox edition has been curated by a different guest blogger – this month it was curated by Karrie Locher.

“Our Featured Blogger this month is Karrie Locher, A 25-year-old full-time mommy and full-time nurse in St. Louis!  Her amazing blog mixes fashion practicality, as well as tips & tricks for that #momlife.  Karrie is perfect for our April box as it is full of items to help Recharge yourslef.  From breath mints that give a boost, to taking care of basic skin needs, to catching up with friends & family and the cutest enamel pin that helps you carry positivity and self love with you everywhere you go.”

The information card gives bite-sized details on each item in the box!

Our box had 5 full-size goodies in it. Each Mommy Mailbox subscription box promises 4-6 items for $33.95. But, the retail value will be 2 to 3 times the price of the box! Cha-ching. And, shipping is free within the U.S.

Flat Notes Stationary by Graphique de France $14.95 – “Write your thank you notes or friendly messages with theses designer flat notes made with busy lifestyles in mind. They will make every delivery extra special.”

If you’re going to say Thank-You, do it right. These cute cards have marbling on the back (it matches the box that they are in). And, there are 50 cards in the box!!! That’s a lot of thankfulness!

Skin Toner by Cultivar Organic Holistic Skincare $40 – “This hydrating and restorative organic toner helps to balance sebum production for both “too oily” and “too dry” skin types. It minimizes redness, and helps to prime skin for moisturizers and make-up.”

And, wah-bam, you are over the retail price of the box right there. This is good stuff. I have been spritzing myself with it and my skin feels tighter and smoother. I like that it comes in a spray bottle. The manufacturer, Cultivar is a sustainable company that uses wind power for all of their electricity and the toner is organic, vegan and cruelty free.  Plus, it works really well.

Hydrating Lip Balm by Wellsmith – “A hydrating lip balm in a variety of unique flavors that leaves behind the dangerous ingredients you can find in some lip products. We love to support small batch small businesses!

This lip balm is from an Etsy shop owned by Lisa Hall out of Lansing, Michigan. So, it is a small business with some great products. The lip balm goes on oh so smoothly and has a mild blackberry flavor and scent.

Energy Breath Mints by Viter Energy $4.99 – “Each mint is packed with a B-vitamin complex and caffeine – plus it will freshen your breath. Perfect for when you need a pick me up on a busy day!”

Genius! I needed these this morning! Cause there is this one child that wakes me up a few times a week at 3 AM to let me know they can’t sleep. And, then I can’t sleep. And, I need a nap (which ain’t happening!) that afternoon. So, minty wake up pills are just what the doctor ordered (figuratively speaking.)

Enamel Pin Card by Fred & Far – “Fred & Far is on a mission to spread self love to women everywhere. They encourage you to honor, choose and remember yourself. Everyday. Their jewelry is a reminder to love yourself first.  The future is bright, and so are you.”

The pin is cute, an enameled gold and white pin shaped like a cut diamond. And, I understand their point, that we should not put ourselves down and hate ourselves. But, the statement just isn’t me. I actually have a pin that just says, “#2”, to remind myself to put others first and myself second. So, no hate, but I personally don’t feel like I need more “self” love. I need help putting others first. I still might wear the pin though, cause it would look great on a scarf.

April’s Mommy Mailbox had a great value for the money. I loved the toner and the lip balm! It’s great to get luxurious products that I wouldn’t normally buy for myself!

What do you think of Mommy Mailbox for this month?!
