Allure Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 5 deluxe sized product samples with a value of at least $50 and is curated by the editors of Allure Magazine, who choose and test the products themselves. It’s $15 a month and if you sign up for a year-long subscription, you will pay for 10 boxes and get 2 more boxes for free. All new members will receive an exclusive Allure x Doucce Eye Shadow Palette, which will be shipped separately.

Looking good!

Each box comes with a mini magazine that gives tips on how to use the products, how much the full-sized product costs, and where to purchase, along with discount codes!

Everything in the box! The items were shipped in a plain brown box that contained a glossy red box inside and my products were snuggled in tissue paper and shredded squiggles for packing.

St. Tropez Self Tan Express Bronzing Face Sheet Mask ($9) is something I’ve never heard of before, and I’ve tried a lot of masks! It’s infused with self-tanner and you place on your face between 5-15 minutes, depending on how dark you dare to go. When the time’s up you remove the mask but rub the remaining product into your face and the color will develop over the next 8 hours. I haven’t been in the sun yet so I’m going to wait until after I visit the pool a couple of times before I give this a try.

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask ($14.50) is a natural beta hydroxy mask that helps soften and revitalize skin with pomegranate enzymes, pink clay, beet extract, and willow bark.

It has a pretty peach color and smells a little like roses. I left it on for 15 minutes before rinsing and didn’t experience any negative reaction.

I love the box that Deco Miami Nail Lacquer ($12.50) comes in, it’s so cute, and the bottle looks great on a dresser. Subscribers received Feeling Fuego, a coral shade that’s looking hot, hot, hot!

This brand is made in the U.S.A. and is vegan and cruelty free. Plus, it’s not 3-free, it’s not 5-free, it’s 8 free! I used it on my toes and had to use 2 coats. At first it looked kind of blotchy but after a few minutes it settled down and looked great!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Keraflex Flexible Hold Hairspray ($1.15) has a micro-fine mist and although I have fine hair that’s not frizzy it didn’t weigh my hair down. Sometimes I get a hairspray that smells bad, like cat urine. I’m not sure why that happens, but this one was pretty stinky.

Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Booster Serum ($19.50) can help reverse the signs of aging by plumping the skin with hyaluronic acid (which draws moisture) and by hydrating with jojoba oil and shea butter. Aloe may reduce redness while fruit extracts provide antioxidants and vitamins. I didn’t notice much scent with this product and it glides on pretty smoothly.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Blur Primer ($17.16) can be applied before makeup or you can wear it alone for some extra radiance. It has apricot kernel oil and rice bran oil and a light, pleasant fragrance. It feels similar to other primers with dimethicone such as Benefit’s POREfessional.

Here’s where this primer shines – it has microfine glitter that adds radiance without looking like a mirror ball. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror at the mall and thought I looked bright and sunny!

My June Allure Beauty Box had a value of $73.81 and had a pretty good assortment of products. The nail polish is a little bright for my hands but my toes look adorable and I really liked the glowy look I got from the YSL primer. I enjoy Allure Beauty Box and like that they include mainstream and indie brands and I look forward to getting it each month!

The cat urine comment made me laugh.

Anna, glad to have made you LOL! I wish I could say this was the first time I’ve had an off hairspray but it’s happened before and I had to get rid of a Paul Mitchell spray one time because it made me gag!
