The full April box reveal. The information card contains a brief description of each item and its value. “Put yourself first, don’t save the best for last.” Wise words for April.
Palmetto Derma Essential Moisturizing Cream ($48): Wow, this little bottle is VERY pricey. This cruelty-free moisturizer is also free of parabens and sulfates. It contains a blend of botanicals and vitamins to protect and nourish skin. It is lightly scented and felt great on my skin. Another bonus is that is is mattifying.
Fringe Studio Henry Candle ($12): I love the bright color pattern on the container, and the owl is trés chic. The scent is ginger rosewood. Normally, I don’t like anything with even a hint of rose, but this fragrance is soft and powdery.
Anne Taintor Tissue Box ($3): I am such a huge fan of Anne Taintor. I love the mix of traditional feminine images with sassy sayings. Tissues are always handy, and this box will be a hit in the office. I work with a group of feisty ladies and may lose this box to one of them. LOL.
Surprisingly, I’m often the innocent one at work (wink, wink). BUT, every now and then you have to break the rules.
Dolcetto Cookies & Cream Wafer Bites ($5): So delicious, and yet, so guilt free. This box contains six 100 calorie packs, perfect for snacking. Light, flaky chocolate wafers surround a creamy center. These treats are free of artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and high fructose corn syrup.
MudLOVE Inspirational Band ($10): If you couldn’t tell by the name, each piece is made from clay. Through MudLOVE’s partnership with Water for Good, every item purchased helps to provide a week of clean water to someone in need. So, not only can you be fashionable but also charitable. Right now, SinglesSwag subscribers can receive 30% off their first order from MudLove.com by using code SINGLESSWAG.
I think this piece fits perfectly with April’s theme and is a good reminder to love yourself.
So Susan Cosmetics Dual Brow Powder ($18): This brow powder is infused with aloe and carrot seed oil to nourish the sensitive skin around the eyes. What it doesn’t contain are phthalates, mineral oils, animal by products, and fragrances.
Apply the darker color to fill in sparse brows, and then apply the lighter color to the entire brow to complete the look. I am a brow pencil girl and haven’t quite mastered powder. My first attempt with this duo has clownish results. Sorry, no pictures to share with you all.
Unplugged Dusti Device Cleaners ($6): These little cleaners stick to your phone so that you never have to worry about dirty screens. They come in a variety of colors and shapes to suit your mood. Rinse them clean under warm water and air dry. The water actually restores the adhesion on the pad. I like that they are stylish and functional.
April’s SinglesSwag box is valued at $102, with nearly half coming from the Palmetto moisturizer. I don’t think I have a favorite item this month. They all made me happy.
