Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” For only $15 per month, you receive four cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Subscriptions are available in 1, 3, 6, or 12-month terms and all items are sans the “Dirty Thirty” and of course free of all animal derived products.
The information card gave details of each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Juara Java Plum & Avocado Nourishing Mask ($4.10) I applied this to my face and my skin immediately soaked it all up! Shea butter, avocado oil, mango & banana pulp, and other moisturizing ingredients went straight to work on my dry skin. It had a light, pleasant fruity scent and I really liked it! I need a huge tub of this for my body, please!
Mullein & Sparrow Balancing Face Mist ($9) Petit Vour sent some variations of this spray and the body oil below so your box may vary! This spray can be applied before moisturizer or as a refreshing mist over makeup. Distilled water and witch hazel form the base, along with jasmine, coriander, and rose geranium essential oils and it has a light scent that fades as soon as you sense it.
Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Bath & Shower Gel ($3.98) I love aromatherapy products and this one smells very invigorating! Coconut oil, lavender and rosemary essential oils, and a few other essential oils round out this oil that you apply to your torso before you jump in the shower or bathtub.
I followed the directions and didn’t have an oil slick on my shower floor afterwards. I’m not sure if it helped my muscles but it cleared my sinuses!
HAN Skin Care Cosmetics All Natural Eyeshadow in Sunset ($13) This natural eyeshadow has rice powder as a base! It also features an antioxidant blend of superfoods, shea butter, and argan oil.
Check out that shade! It reminds me of a summer sunset but is described as “peach champagne with shimmer finish.”
Here it is swatched but it looks even better on my eyes. I think it’s just right for summer and would probably make a great highlighter, too. Color me impressed!
I’m always amazed because I feel like Petit Vour sends items that are perfect for me and my needs! I like the variety of items, too, and feel like it hits several different beauty areas each month. I can’t even pick a favorite, I enjoyed each item! This month’s box had a value of around $30.08, which is double the cost of the box!
