Luxor Box

Luxor Box is a luxurious bi-monthly women’s lifestyle subscription box full of high-end products and treasures: home, body, bath, accessories, jewelry, and more! The Luxor Box comes with 5-9 full-size and high-end products worth more than $250 in value. There’s also a petite version of this box that comes with 2-4 items.

Mariposa Blue Peony Trinket Dish

One of the reasons I like Luxor Box is that everything comes gift ready.

The price sticker is still on my box. Luxor Box item prices may seem high, but Luxor Box does not inflate prices.

Blue Peony Trinket Dish

The Mariposa Blue Peony Trinket Dish ($44.00) is my favorite item in this month’s box. The dish is made out of recycled sandcast aluminum and coated with blue enamel. Michael Updike, son of author John Updike, designed the 6-inch dish. It is a gorgeous piece that needs to stay out of direct sunlight and high-intensity halogen light. I need to rearrange my dresser to make room for this beautiful dish.

Circo Cell, a luxurious skincare line created by Maya Crothers, combines science with nature.

Ciro Cell Daily Hydration Broad Spectrum SPF 43

I barely felt the  Circo Cell Daily Hydration Broad Spectrum SPF 43 (1.7 oz, $50.00) on my face when testing it out. It absorbed quickly into the skin and had a light, generic sunscreen scent. It was slightly irritating to my skin which is fussy because of the rosacea. My sister was happy to claim it. She loves all the high-end skincare that comes in the Luxor Boxes.

Americana Candle with Betty Studs

It’s a jewelry candle! The Venice Beach Candle Jules Smith Jewelry Candle (6 oz, $48.00) has a pair of stud earrings in it.

The soy candle burns for approximately 36 hours. It has a lovely soft scent of jasmine, orchid, and denim. I do believe this is the first candle that I received that has denim as a note. The scent is airy and clean.

Burn the candle until you see the foil. Blow it out and remove using tweezers, not bare hands! My foil was located near the bottom of the candle.

The Jules Smith Betty Stud Earrings ($35.00) were safely wrapped in a plastic bag.

A Windy Day

I took the studs outside for a photo, and one blew away! Crystals form a beautiful sparkling circle on the 14k gold stud earrings.

Rose et Marius Hand Cream

I am excited to see another Rose et Marius product!

Rose et Marius Hand Cream

The strongly scented  Rose et Marius Orange Blossom Hand Cream (1.6 oz, $18.00) is moisturizing. It has an almost powdery type scent that I can’t place that may be due to the poppy petals. The master perfume maker created this fragrance to capture the orange blossoms and olive oil scents that are in the Provence bakeries.

Ripauste 3-Piece Set in Camel

The spoiler for the May box was the 3-piece Ripauste Set in either Black or Camel ($135.00). I received Camel which was the color I wanted!

Pochette Bandoulière

The Pochette Bandoulière aka Shoulder Bag is made out of leather and has a magnetic closure. It comes with a removable shoulder strap which was packaged inside the shoulder bag.

It is 100% leather and does not have a liner inside the bag. The purse is incredibly soft.

The strap was easy to hook to the purse.

True Color

This outside photo shows the true color of the 3-piece Ripauste set. I placed my wallet, phone, keys, and sunglass case in the purse.

Pochette S

The 100% leather Pochette S has a snap closure and is the size of a typical coin purse.

It also can hold credit cards and ID.

Belt

The Ripauste Leather Belt measures 41 inches and has seven notches. It is made out of full grain leather.

The Ripauste imprint is on the inside of the belt. The belt is perfect for jeans or a dress.

My sister agreed to model the Ripauste 3-Piece Set. The belt fitted my sister who is a size 8. As you can see, the purse looks weighted down from the items that I placed in there. I plan to put my ID and credit cards in the Pochette S to reduce the weight in the purse.

The purse can be worn as a cross-body. I love the purse and can’t wait to use it. I do wish that the purse strap was a little wider.

Luxor Box May 2016

One year ago, I was introduced to the Rose et Marius brand in the Luxor Box May 2016 Box. I still use my tumbler to burn candles. The Rose et Marius items tend to be my favorite items from Luxor Box.

I greatly enjoyed my May Luxor Box. The Blue Peony trinket box is beautiful. I can’t wait to use the Ripauste Pochette Bandoulière and Pochette S. The candle had a lovely scent and was a lot of fun. My sister loves the belt and will be using the Ciro Cell SPF Moisturizer. I can’t make up my mind on the Rose et Marius hand cream scent. I do love Rose et Marius products and am happy that the hand cream is in the box.

I found Luxor Box to be responsive to subscribers’ desires. The items come in its original packaging and are ready to gift. The value of the box is almost $300.00.  It’s a great way to discover luxurious brands.
