This month’s theme is OVERCOMER. Inside this box is a wonderful selection of items to fit the theme of “Overcomer.” Are you an overcomer? You’ve faced temptations and trials and have overcome? Most of us are.

Everything in the May box! I just love getting this box because the outside is bright hot pink and the words “loved + blessed” are on the outside. Reminds me of Sundays at church where I spend a lot of time. Reminds me that on Sundays, I get dressed up and go to where I am loved + blessed by God.
The first item I noticed was the wrapped item, always get’s my attention those wrapped items. You just have to unwrap them first!
Inside is a bar of Honey Oatmeal Soap by Wyoming Mountain Song ($6.50). It’s to remind you as it dissolves, that you can overcome any mountain, now that’s clever! The ladies of the company have a mission to raise money that can be used to make a difference. Proceeds from this bar of soap helped to build a house for a homeless family in Haiti.

There’s also a beautiful poem on another card all with a pretty teal/orange design that goes along with the theme.

Normally, the encouragement kit you use to pass encouragement onto others comes in a white envelope. This time it came in a brown paper bag. The suggestion is that you pack a lunch for someone (or fun snacks). How fun is that?

I forgot I paused my six month renewal and was surprised to see a May box! I gave everything to my 18 year old son except for the soap. He always loved their mini poster, reminder sticker, and Scripture card. I think it was Loved and Blessed that send a survey out to see if there was interest in a men’s version. I do wish that Christian boxes offered something for men even if it was only for Father’s Day and Christmas. One Christian sub did offer a one-time men’s box at Christmas which my son loved. He wants an encouraging “I am study to become a pastor and will be mentoring teenager soon” kind of box.
What a great idea! Men need encouraging just as much as we women.
