Lootaku is a monthly geek subscription box from Hong Kong packed with high-quality geek and gamer items. The subscription costs $49.00 per month + shipping (currently about $17 to the US), and you’ll get 4-6 themed products, like plushies, action figures, memorabilia, etc., to satisfy your geeky cravings monthly – no fillers or promo items!

I like how the outside of the box is beautifully designed. A Chest – Full of Loot!

FYI – Lootaku dropped its price this year, reducing both the cost of the box and the shipping slightly, to the tune of about $7 in the US.

The theme this month is “ONE PIECE.”

DEAL: If you’re looking to try it out, save 5% on your subscription – even longer lengths! Just use this link to get the deal.

The item information card, or “Loot Table,” is thick and glossy, with lots of detail. When there are variations, it typically lists each possible variation you might receive!

All the goodies inside my May Lootaku Box!

Trafalgar Law “Pirates of Heart” Snapback Cap ($12 on card, $15.99 on Amazon) A cool cap with the embroidered symbol of Trafalgar D. Water Law, more commonly known as Trafalgar Law!

At the back of the cap, there’s an embroidered phrase: “Pirates of Heart.” Still a homage to Trafalgar who is known as the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates from North Blue. The material is high-quality, as well as the embroidering and the stitching.

One Piece “Yoru” Sword With Stand ($12) A miniature version of one of the most powerful swords in One Piece history!

Its detailing is precise!

Like what was in the anime series, it looked like a cross and the blade is pitch-black with a strong sheen.

In the anime, it is currently in the possession of Dracule Mihawk. Meanwhile, this replica will be displayed safely at home.

Sanji Wanted Poster Keychain ($5) It has the One Piece logo on one side…

…and a wanted poster of Sanji on the other side. If you’re a fan of the anime series, you’ll probably recognize this conversation:

Sanji: “Which part of the picture looks like me?”

Zoro: “It looks exactly like you.”

Banpresto “The Naked” 2017 One Piece Body Calendar Vol. 5 Monkey D. Luffy Figure ($35 on card, $23.39 on Amazon) Of course, a box with a One Piece theme wouldn’t be complete without Monkey D. Luffy!

This figure came in two variations: Luffy with his iconic blue denim shorts and Luffy in a special black and red color shorts. We got the classic Luffy figure.

There’s minor assembly required with this figure.

Here’s Luffy in his assembled form.

This figure is number 5 in Banpresto’s new figure series released just this year.

Even from the back, it looks just as detailed. And look at Luffy’s iconic straw hat!

“Soon, I’ll be the king of the pirates!”

One Piece World Zou Island Collectible Figures ($15) Zou is the third island visited by Straw Hat Pirates. Subscribers will receive 1 of 6 mini figures from the One Piece WCF Zou Island Series.

We got Nekomamushi!

Nekomamushi, the guardian of the Whale Forest, is a feline mink.

He is distinguished by his sharp teeth and claws…

…as well as his thick striped tail and bushy blonde hair.

The workmanship is impressive!

Other variants are Sanji, Nami, Wanda, Carrot, and Inuarashi.

One Piece Mini Devil Fruits With Stand – Gura Gura no Mi ($14) Subscribers will receive 1 of 5 devil fruits.

We got the Blue Pear Shape!

This is not an ordinary fruit! In the One Piece world, this fruit can give the eater magical powers or skills.

Apparently, anyone who eats a Blue Pear Shape will be able to create vibrations or quakes.

Interesting! Looks like brains!

The One Piece loots this month are awesome, but Lootaku brings in something new every month so I know we can still look forward to variety. High-quality figures are always welcome and we even got two from this box!
