This month’s card asks us a VERY important question: “Do these Palm Trees make my butt look big?” 😀

I think I see… pancakes? YES!!!!

Flap Jacked – Protein Pancake Mix, Cinnamon Apple. ($8.99) How awesome is this mix? You get to enjoy the food you like, but with an extra dose of protein! The company offers quite a lot of delicious mix, like muffins and cookies. Yes, cookies!

Not a lot of ingredients, and I don’t see any added sugar to the mix. I like what I see! Super easy to use, just add 1 cup of water for 1 cup of mix, and cook! I already love this month’s box!

Edgy Veggies – Sweet Red Pepper Sriracha ($5.09 CAD). Made with gluten-free flour blend, real veggies and no sugar, this is a snack you can’t refuse!

There’s four portions in the box, and the taste reminds me of the Vegetable Thins that are full of salt. A better version of one of my favourite crackers, and it’s easy to shove a package in your purse or in your car (yes, I keep all kinds of snacks in my car).

Buff Bake Protein Cookie – White Chocolate Peanut Butter. ($2.40) I’ve tasted a different flavour of these cookies and they are pretty good! (I love the frosted oatmeal cookie).

Leclerc Go Pure – Pumpkin seed & maple. Leclerc is a well known company in Quebec for all its tasty cookies. I’m a big fan of the company as they offer a lot of bars made in a peanut-free facility. The Go Pure Product line is new to me, so I was pretty excited to try it out! Certified Organic and GMO-free, these bar are made with real chocolate as well! It was sooooo good! The maple flavour wasn’t overwhelming, the bar was chewy and satisfying! It carried me through a dance class, it’s a winner! I’ll get more for sure!

Natura Fortified Almond Beverage – Chocolate. Convenient on the go format, this is a nice replacement to the chocolate milk. I’m a really big fan of their soy milk line (the cappucino flavour is my favorite), but the chocolate flavour of this almond beverage is pretty good. It’s also shelf stable.

Salome Naturals Moringa – Little Life Box introduced me to Moringa in a previous box, and I wasn’t a fan. Too… leafy of a taste. Never mind, I’ll give these sample an other try!

Organic Gemini – Tiger Nut Raw Snack. Technically, they are not “nuts”, they are nutrient-dense root vegetables.

Purely Inspired – Organic Protein. Gluten Free, non-GMO and 100% vegan, this is a nice addition to my smoothie routine! What’s even better is that in the box, this little magazine was included, introducing us to 12 different smoothies using the organic protein! I’m not the most creative person when it comes to smoothie recipe, so this little booklet is the perfect addition.

Acure – Day Cream. Acure is another company Little Life Box introduced me to. And I LOVE everything I’ve tried from them since then. Even if it’s a bit more complicated and expensive to get it in Canada. I’ve tried mostly their scrub and facial cleanser, I haven’t tried their cream yet. I’m so happy to have a sample to try it out!

Puressentiel – Antibacterial Gel. Perfect to carry in my purse.

A.Vogel Milk Thistle ($11). Milk Thistle has anti-inflammatory and antioxydant properties that could help for liver related problems, and other conditions. As for any natural supplements, one should be careful before using them to treat themselves.

This month’s was my favourite box so far from Little Life Box! This is such a fun box to discover new favourites, beside old ones and I’m so happy that this month’s included a couple of Canadian products easy for me to find in my grocery store. It’s so nice when you get a box full of snacks and products you know you will enjoy most of it!
