From Japan Crate comes Kira Kira Crate, a box dedicated to Japanese beauty! Kira Kira means “to sparkle” and with this box full of makeup, skincare, and other tools from Japan, you will sparkle as well! I’ve always loved Japanese cosmetics, but they are extremely pricey. Even the drugstore lines, adorable as they are, are costly to import. There have been a few boxes that have tried to do a J-beauty box, but it really is cost prohibitive, so I’m very excited to see what Kira Kira Crate has in store!

The booklet included with the box has a brief welcome letter, a list of the products included, and additional pages give English instructions for each product.

Sakura Dream Lux Shampoo Lux is known for making highly fragranced, luxurious soaps and haircare. This isn’t sulfate-free, unfortunately, but it is moisturising and didn’t strip my skin.

Rilakkuma Bath Bomb This sweet scented bath bomb has a Rilakkuma toy inside once it’s fizzed out. I love these bath bombs and have tried a bunch of Sanrio ones.

My Melody BB Cream BB cream is tinted moisturizer which has sunscreen in it. I’m not sure what brand this limited edition My Melody kind is but the packaging is very cute.

Carbonated Face Mask Combining two types of powders to a large bowl creates a fizzing, hydrating solution to soak your face in. I’m a bit weirded out by dunking my face in water, so I won’t be trying this, but it sounds so neat!

Soy Milk Yogurt Face Mask Fermentation is one of the new things I’m learning about with skincare. It functions like a probiotic for your skin. The yogurt in this mask adds these benefits.

Heart Shaped Konjac Konjac sponges are great for gentle exfoliation. This one is heart shaped!

Here’s the BB cream and konjac sponges out of their packaging so you can see the full extent of the cuteness!

This was a pretty solid offering from Kira Kira Crate. The BB cream was a great addition as a makeup item and I’m excited about the bath items personally. The soap smells amazing and the konjac sponge is so cute!
