Five Four Club is a men’s clothing monthly subscription club – sign up, pick a style profile and your sizes, and get clothes every month. The subscription is a $60 flat monthly fee, and traditionally subscribers receive a variable number of items each month, depending on the value of the month’s selections (months with several items usually include a tee-shirt or other lower value item). This subscription ships at the end of the month.

This month’s shipment came with 3 items. FYI – my Five Four profile is “Forward” (you can select to receive Casual, Classic, Mixed, or Forward selections).

DEAL: You can save 50% on your first box with code TB50OFF!

Ryan Fashion Tee (Heather Teal): My first item is a classic pocket Tee in a warm and vivid heather teal.

The styling is pretty traditional, with a single breast pocket. The fabric is a nice soft chambray, but the color remains very bright.

Mark Graphic Tee (Black): This shirt is the piece that best embodies the “forward” aesthetic. The body of the shirt is a deep black, with equally forceful red and white stripes running around the trunk.

A breast pocket is hidden in the dark fabric.

The pattern extends to the back of the shirt as well.

The shirt is tailored to fit a big guy more comfortably, with the back half of the shirt extending slightly further than the front to provide better coverage when bending and sitting.

Lars Hoodie (Charcoal): The color of this hoodie is actually very blueish, despite being “charcoal.” It has a very classic design, with pull string closure around the rim of the hood.

The cuffs and waist don’t really gather the fabric, but they add a nice, clean border. The pockets are in the style of a hand warmer pocket, with a large opening and bisected by the zipper.

The drawstrings are classed up a bit with silver colored aglets and grommets.

Five Four is an easy way to expand your wardrobe. You choose your fashion profile, so you get items that fit in with your general fashion sensibility. Returns are allowed for sizing issues only – this is not a try-before-you-buy service, but the items are generally such that they will easy find a home in your wardrobe. Five Four does designer collaborations and now offers a la carte pieces in their online store to further leverage your subscription items.
