Nerd Block‘s Doctor Who Block brings you collectible items and exclusive wearables from the Doctor Who franchise every other month. Experience the time-bending magic of getting officially licensed and exclusive items from your favorite Time Lords.

The Hero Item of this inaugural box is an exclusive Tenth Doctor vinyl!

The box came with this information card that includes a list of all the items in the box.

Everything in the May box!

I’m A Dreamer T-Shirt Featuring an Eleventh Doctor quote! Eleven is my favourite Doctor and I love this quote. This features Galifreyan designs and the TARDIS.

I love the blue and green colours.

The nape is printed with the classic Doctor Who logo.

All Doctors Travel Pass Holder This is an adorable print of all thirteen Doctors, including the War Doctor! (Who is technically 8.5) I love how the Fourth Doctor’s scarf hangs down.

The case itself is pretty flimsy, but is big enough to fit cards and cash.

Rusty K-9 3D Model Kit Construct the always loyal K-9 with this kit from Metal Earth.

The detail is really impressive!

Doctor Who TARDIS Mug This brings my Doctor Who mug collection up to three. I love the watercolour paint on the TARDIS!

This is likely the Eleventh Doctor’s model with the St John’s Ambulance sticker on the door panel.

Perfect for a cup of tea.

Titan 6.5″ Tenth Doctor Figure The End of Time was the final episode adventure featuring David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor.

He got his butt kicked pretty badly by the end of the episode, and as a result began to regenerate — the Doctor doesn’t die when he’s mortally wounded, but rather transforms into another person. This is how the series has been running for over 50 years.

I have to say I don’t think the facial likeness is that great. They got the eyebrows right though.

And the hair. To quote Rose Tyler, “he had really, really great hair.”

The paint job on his sleeves is annoying me with the little bits sticking out at the seam.

And of course, a tiny version of his sonic screwdriver is included!

The shoe (Converse, of course!) is imprinted with the Titans logo.

Eleventh Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver LED Torch ($12.99) I’m ignoring the fact that the packaging says this is the Twelfth Doctor’s screwdriver, because it was Eleven’s first!

The detail is really impressive on this.

The LED is bright and strong.

A card advertises the official shop where you can buy even more Whovian memorabilia.

The first Doctor Who block was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Aside from the vinyl, nothing else felt really “exclusive” even though they were still good quality items. (with the exception of the pass case, which is pretty cheap but still cute!) Nerd Block does really great boxes even for their normal subscriptions, so I was hoping for a bit more especially since Doctor Who is such a beloved fandom of mine. Maybe my hopes were up a bit too much for how long I’ve been a fan? I still really enjoyed unboxing it and geeking out over all the references, but I’m crossing my fingers they will up their game!

What did you think of the first Doctor Who Block? And who is YOUR favourite Doctor?

I really love the mug and t-shirt, and the box itself is super cool! A mini TARDIS!

The pass case is actually pretty standard for British fare. You use them for your Oyster card. It was better quality than the ones you get when you purchase the card too.

Oh, that’s really cool! Hahah well now I might need to keep my Compass card (transit pass) in mine. 😛 The bus isn’t exactly the TARDIS but oh well!
