Clear Essence My Natural Beauty Skin Tone Carrot Oil Soap. Carrot oil has a formative effect in stimulating skin cell growth aimed to rejuvenate wrinkled, aged and dehydrated skin. This soap was gentle with a great clean scent. I loved that it left my skin feeling clear without the extra tight feeling of normal soaps. I would use this on every inch of my skin to see a nice healthy glow.
Shea Moisture Sacha Inchi Oil Omega 3-6-9 Rescue Bubble Bath Body Wash and Lotion. Both of these products were super creamy and deeply moisturizing I just wish there was more of a scent to them, however, I can use any perfume I want with it. I love Shea Moisture products and actually use them daily so I was not disappointed in this product either.I lover being exposed to more items from my favorite brands.
Nubian Heritage Coconut & Papaya Bath Bombs ($10.56). These bath bombs smell like candy and claim to leave your skin hydrated and smooth. I am not a bath kind of gal as sitting in my own dirty water is not appealing but I could see adding these to a nice basket for a friend that encourages self pampering.
Adamia Therapeutic Repair Lotion ($2.49). It’s thick and luxurious, going on without a greasy feeling. My skin was left feeling great, even the driest skin on my back felt renewed. I keep this in my desk at work now and I wash my hands like a crazy lady (working in a doctors office will do that to you) and I don’t worry about dry cracked hands any longer. I’m so lucky to have had this delivered to my door and see its magic in just a few short days.
Carol’s Daughters Almond Milk Sulfate-Free Shampoo ($0.43) and Conditioner ($0.51). I have used Carol’s Daughters leave in conditioner before so I was beyond excited to try another product. I also will say that I love that these samples are large enough to use a few days in a row so I can really see how ell the product works. As I thought I was happy with the way my hair felt and even happier with how easy it was to style after using this shampoo and conditioner. I love that the almond scent was in my hair come the next day prior to taking a shower. I’ve already added this to my shopping list.
Luster’s Pink Shea Butter Coconut Oil Edge Smoother Gel ($4.41). I am a believer in taming my child’s crazy locks with this product. I combs just a little bit through her hair and it lasted all day to control those pesky fly aways. I really loved that it didn’t leave her with helmet head, you know when the product hardens and leaves your hair looking like Ken Dolls.
Jane Carter Solution Curls to Go Coiling All Curls ($3.10). The most perfect product for girls like me who like to wash their hair add a little product and be on their way. I loved that every curl on my head was given definition and even my husband complimented my great hair day!
Luster’s Pink Apricot Oil ($2.99). Talk about a great smelling and super hydrating treatment…look no further than this oil. I have been using it on my dry cuticles and hands and I am in love. It’s ultra-light and absorbs fast enough that I don’t leave oily finger prints on anything. This is going to replace my Vaseline in the colder months to ensure my hands are cracked and bleeding. I almost don’t want to share this product with my friends so that my skin always glows brighter, but that’s selfish and a good friend shares great finds.
Lue Clear Spot Control. Clear is the ultimate spot control for leaving your skin flawless. It’s special blend of 12 herbs kill the bacteria causing blemishes and reduced inflammation. I’m looking forward to using this on my hard to fight acne areas… like my chin. I’m still waiting to out grow acne, anyone else with me there?
Pampering Mesh Pouf Sponge. Bath Sponges make your shower gels and soaps last longer, and keep skin healthier with daily sudsing and gentle exfoliation.
Glamazon Beauty Cosmetics Flawless Gel Liner Pen ($16). A truly fool proof gel eyeliner that can make any makeup newbie look like a pro. With the super fine tip it’s easy to create straight and precise line and wings. What I really likes is that it didn’t rub off easily and I slept with it on my arm and it was still perfect in the morning.

Cocotique is a great fun way to learn more about products that are designed with women of color in mind. I loved getting to try new items and adding a few of them to my own beauty regiment. I also loved getting brands that I have already fallen in love with because that helps to solidify my awesome shopper status. It’s so great that Cocotique is able to partner with the highlighted brands to bring a little extra savings to me as well. I think my favorite product of this month’s box is the Apricot Oil, my skin is glowing and healthy and very hydrated. I also think adding a gift card to the partner box is genius, it’s so hard to resist the fashions of ModaBox. I can’t wait to see what I can fall for in June.
