Everything in my April 2017 box!

The Grasshopper and the Ants by Jerry Pinkney ($7.49)

This story is a companion to The Lion & the Mouse and the Tortoise & the Hare.

It’s all about hard work through the seasons!

The illustrations are completely magical, and this one has a foldout showing the ants storing everything up for the winter!

There’s an artist note too.

I totally fell in love with the illustrations for this book and wasn’t surprised to see so many accolades for the artist!

The House That’s Your Home by Sally Lloyd-Jones & Jane Dyer ($12.54)

This book was best for my toddler and it discussed all our things and peoples.

I loved this part about the Grandparents. Is it misty in here?

Olga The Cloud by Nicoletta Costa ($13.23)

Olga wants to make it rain, because she’s a cloud!

She’s so happy, but everyone keeps on chasing her away!

The story ends where Olga find other clouds and together they make it rain!

Pest in Show by Victoria Jamieson ($5.99)

What a delightful book! There were 16 parody play posters in all on the covers.

Ladybug was born to be a star, but her pesky brother Fly keeps on getting in the way.

The language in this book was great, and there were so many sounds for my toddler to be exposed to, and for my 6 year old to practice!

The end was hilarious!

This box is heavy and my kids were really excited to see it land back at my door. My daughter grabbed it and immediately organized story night. This is a wonderful subscription for bringing a really great variety of multi-age children’s books into your home every month without fail! It’s $15 with the shipping – you just cannot beat it.
