BeautyFIX is a monthly subscription box from Dermstore that sends you the latest skin care, hair care, and makeup products for $24.95 a month (or $34.95 for a one-time purchase). They feature full and travel-sized products and promise the box will contain at least $100 worth of items. Everyone receives the same products, although makeup colors or scents may differ, but at least you will know what you’re getting if you decide to purchase the box after you see the contents.

TIP: you can subscribe to BeautyFIX and receive this exact box – it’s usually available all the way through the end of the month!

(I think my mail carrier spilled coffee on the box)

DEAL: Save $10 on your first box with BEAUTYFIX10

The theme this month is “Kiss of Sun” and all the products are intended to help kick off the summer months in beautiful style

The product information card gave each item name, what it’s used for, and a coupon code for a shop purchase.

Everything in my box!

Daily Concepts Wash Cloth ($14) This washcloth is really amazing! (I’ve never said that about a washcloth before, I’m certain of it.)

The cloth itself is a stretchy cotton with nylon exfoliating loops built in to help slough away rough skin.I love the handles!

There’s also this fabulous indicator that will let you know that it’s time to replace the cloth when it’s faded.

Plus, it comes with a suction cup using with the packaging to provide a place for it to dry in the shower.

Voila! SmartFX Smart Lash Advanced Eyelash Enhancer ($49.95) This serum is designed to increase hair growth on your lashes and brows resulting in a thicker, fuller look.

The notes for this product say that “there may be a slight tingling sensation associated with use. Discontinue use if redness or irritation occurs.” The reviews for this lash enhancer concur, but they also say it really works. I’m going to test it out, one eye at a time, and keep my eye closed until it’s dry. I can always use more lash!

Vita Liberata 10 Minute Tan ($5.20) This self tanner has a bit of a caramel tint so you can see it as you apply it.

This tanner is paraben-free, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, and petrochemical-free! You apply to face and/or body for 10 minutes, or 20 for darker color, and rinse off in the shower. I got good color!

Manna Kadar Runway Ready Primer ($11) I’m not sure why this tiny bottle is so spendy – it’s your average makeup primer, although I won’t say no to getting it in a box (unlike that split color pan that’s literally been in every single subscription box over the past year). Alas, this just landed in Luxe Pineapple’s Anniversary box. I hope this doesn’t mean we’re getting it in every box for the next year!

NuFace Prep Cloth (1 cloth) ($1) This dual-sided cleansing cloth has a soft cotton side to cleanse and remove makeup, and the other side gently exfoliates with micro-dots.

Plus, it’s infused with hyaluronic acid for improving skin hydration.

Tula Hydrating Day and Night Cream ($12.81) I love that this cream is a day to night multi-tasker! This cream includes probiotics to fight bad bacteria. Free of phthalates and parabens and cruelty-free, this cream was light and absorbed quickly without an oily feel. It is scented, but I liked it.

Ahava Hand Cream ($9.60) This is a great mineral-enriched handcream with a lovely sea/beachy scent! I find it incredibly soothing.

Cotz Face Natural Tinted SPF 40 ($2) Cotz is my go-to! It’s a silky feeling sunscreen that blends without whitening, because it has a soft tint to it. The tint isn’t really tone specific, it’s just to eliminate any whiteness, and it has a great matte finish.

Replenix All-trans-Retinol Enriched Eye Repair BONUS! ($34.20)  It’s not on the card, but everyone had a bonus item. Mine was a retinol enriched and quite moisturizing. The tube is mostly empty but if you use it sparingly, there’s enough to actually try it out!

What a great box! There was about $92.75 in value, but over half of that is in the Smart Lash. I appreciate the chance to try this ridiculously priced product plus get everything else. My box had an additional bonus item that added another $34..20 in value. For sure the value wasn’t evenly distributed, but some of the least expensive items were my faves (hello washcloth!). If this is your first box, you can save $10  with BEAUTYFIX10

Have you had your BeautyFIX? This box is still available in their shop if you like what you see!

Thanks for the thorough review, Brandy! I just got my BF box & unpacked & examined all my goodies yesterday.
Super excited to try everything in here. Except the hand cream. Ugh. I once complained about having too many cans of dry shampoo, now it’s hand cream. I’ll never use them all.

I keep one at every desk and I use a surprising amount! But I only keep my faves. 🙂
