This is a review of the Beauty Heroes Spring 2017 Seasonal Beauty Discovery Box. It’s still available for $45 per box!

So pretty! Tucked in was a little freebie.

White squiggles protect the items inside.

The Spring 2017 Seasonal Beauty Discovery is Persistently Pink Palette by Au Naturale Cosmetics.

This is the kind of revolution we can all get behind! Au Naturale relaunches their clean cosmetic line in minimalist, eco-conscious packaging, a stark contrast to the bold colors contained within. Even more electrifying than the collection’s palette is its performance. Formulated with the cleanest and most sustainable organic, vegan, cruelty-free ingredients available, each swipe of color nourishes skin, lips, lids and lashes with shea butter, jojoba seed, essential oils and mineral pigments.

Inspired by the rebirth of the brand, Beauty Heroes Founder, Jeannie Jarnot, and Au Naturale Founder and leader of The Clean Beauty Revolution, Ashley Prange, curated a collection of color that celebrates the creativity, complexity and enduring strength of the feminine experience.

This Seasonal Makeup Discovery is valued at $87.

The information card is loaded with info on this season’s brand and featured items! It also includes instructions on how to use the included products, including more shades to pair them with, if you fall in love.

The booklet comes with useful information like the product ingredients and a short history of this season’s featured company, Au Naturale.

Everything comes packed in original retail packaging.

Everything in my Spring 2017 Beauty Heroes Seasonal Beauty Discovery box! There are 4 full-sized color cosmetic items.

Au Naturale Powder Eye Shadow in Ballet ($25)

Everything from this brand is non-nano and free of animal products and by-products, gluten, parabens, fillers, dyes, and toxins. The ingredient list is short and sweet.

Ballet is soft mauve with lavender undertones.

I was so intrigued by the rollerball!

According to their website, it can either be applied directly to the eyelid from the roller ball or rolled onto the back of the hand before applying with an all angle liner brush.

Au Naturale Organic Lip su/STAIN in Hero ($25)

It’s a liquid lip stain in a deep berry wine shade.

Smooth and creamy, but with a nice semi-matte finish. I liked that it wasn’t 100% opaque, it gave it a more wearable look for this deep color. My favorite part? The scent! It uses organic flavoring and it smells like berries!

Au Naturale Eye Liner Pencil in Coco ($22)

A non-toxic eye liner pencil that applies super smoothly. It has a creamy texture but isn’t like a gel.

It has a rich and pigmented color. It’s just one of the creamiest eyeliners I’ve ever used.

Coco is classic warm brown.

Depending on the look you’re going for, it is smudgeable and can also be used for precise definition.

Au Naturale Powder Blush in Pink Champagne ($24)

Perfect for putting a touch of color on the cheeks. This one leaves an air-brushed finish.

Pink Champagne is a luminous, pink gold.

It can be sprayed directly onto a brush or onto the back of your hand before applying to the cheeks.

Love its natural flushed color! It definitely was a surprised how it puffed out. I knew it was a powder but it’s just super unusual!

Swatches! Eyeshadow, lip stain, eyeliner, and blush. It’s hard to see but the blush has just a hint of gold shimmer.

This box puts together a perfectly sophisticated – and wearable – look! I loved the quality of the packaging for these products, especially the innovative rollerball eyeshadow and powder blush. Most especially I’m crazy about what’s not in these products – all the fillers and synthetic chemicals! At $11.45 per item ($187 in value), this box is a total steal!

As I mentioned earlier, I also selected some items from the shop when I checked out – I wanted free shipping, and I took advantage of my 15% subscriber discount.

Laurel Whole Plant Organics Restore Nightly Facial Balm ($1.75?) Freebie!

A nighttime moisturizer packed with anti-aging properties. Ingredients include calendula, pomegranate, sea buckthorn, astragalus, comfrey, and gotu kola. It also has essential oils of rose, sandalwood, and myrrh that make it smell so good. The balm gets absorbed by the skin fairly quickly too.

Kahina Giving Beauty Prickly Pear Seed Oil Rollerball ($40) Something to fight under eye dark circles! It is packed with vitamin K and vitamin E, and helps regenerate the skin. The roll-on bottle is pretty easy to use. It also ensures that no drop of oil will be wasted. The manufacturer says that the scent of this product smells like hay, but we think it smells more like sesame. It’s a weird smell. I am keeping it at my desk – it’s easy to use, even if the scent is hard to get used to!

Osmia Lip Doctor ($12) And a refill on one of my favorite products of the year! I got this in an earlier Beauty Heroes box and just flat-out needed another tube!
