Pricing for products varied across sites. The prices listed below are those of Beauteque, unless otherwise noted.

The March Beauteque BB bag. Two items with goat milk, and one with milk & honey. Makes me wonder what kind of milk it is.

Mizon | Snail Recovery Gel Cream ($16.00): Infused with snail secretions, this gel moisturizing cream penetrates quickly to help hydrate and protect skin. This didn’t have much of a scent, and I felt it left my skin feeling more supple. For those with drier skin, Beautque suggests following this with another moisturizer. I have slightly oily skin, so this was not a step that I followed.

Esfolio | Goat Milk Daily Toner ($16.99): This toner cleans and refines skin using Korean goat milk extract. Milk proteins work to improve tone and boost elasticity. The toner also contains sea grape extract to moisturize, and aloe to soothe and comfort skin. A few of the online descriptions I saw suggested this for those with dry skin. I’m passing this to my sister who tends to be drier than me.

Esfolio | Foot & Heel Peeling Mask ($4.99): Hello, Sandal Season! This mask uses plant extracts to remove rough, calloused skin from your feet. If you’ve never used one of these peels, let me explain. Fill the booties with the gel serum and wear for 90 minutes. Rinse feet with warm water and wait 4-7 days for feet to start peeling. I would advise to wear socks once the peeling begins – your feet are kind of gross during the molting process. BTW, the booties are decently sized. My dad decided to try this foot peel; the booties were snug, but he got them on. He wears a size 11 for reference.

A’pieu | Honey & Milk Lip Scrub ($10.00): This isn’t as gritty as my regular lip scrub, but I felt it was just as effective. I like that there was an applicator for this. The honey scent was immediately noticeable and yummy. Rub the scrub on your lips and wipe of with a tissue/towel when finished. My lips felt soft and hydrated immediately after using this. I did feel that I had to scrub longer than normal because there was less grit.

Xaivita |Goat Milk 3-step Whitening Sheet Mask ($3.50): There is so much going on in this mask, it’s ridiculous. In addition to the goat milk, there are a whole host of plant ingredients such as witch hazel, blueberry, tomato, green tea, and grapefruit peel extracts. The 3 steps work together to improve elasticity and moisture. The ingredients also provide protection against fine dust.

  • Step 1 – After washing your face, apply the goat milk whitening ampoule over your whole face.
  • Step 2 – Apply the sheet mask and remove after 10-20 minutes.
  • Step 3 – Apply the goat milk whitening cream over your whole face.

Enprani | Silky Cleansing Tissues ($8.99): I can always use cleansing wipes. Not only do these silky wipes remove makeup, they also hydrate skin with sodium hyaluronate and aloe. Green tea also works to soothe skin.

This month’s bag is a bright lime green – very indicative of spring and new blooms. The nylon bag is fully lined. Although it’s a bit short, it is still roomy inside.

March’s Beauteque BB Bag contains around $60 in product. I am always happy with the value of the products I receive compared to the cost of the subscription. The fact that my dad was willing to try the foot peel totally made this box worth every penny. I can’t wait to see if the peel works as well on his hot mess of feet as they do mine. LOL

On a side note: Before trying any Asian cosmetic subscription, expect that most information on the package will be in the native language. That said, more and more brands are including directions/ingredients in English, and information can also be found in English on the majority of brands’ websites (you may have to choose a brand’s global or US site). Secondly, a large number of products focus on brightening or whitening the skin. As a person of color, I have not seen my skin color change. Instead, I’ve experienced that my skin tone gets evened out after prolonged use. However, your results may be different. And lastly, many products contain ingredients which are animal-derived, so these may not be an option if you are vegan. You can also check out cosDNA.com to see if the ingredients for the product are listed there.
