The theme for January 2017 was Rise and Shine! I couldn’t wait to see what My Texas Market included in this box!

January’s box contains popular breakfast favorites!

Everything in my box! I love how My Texas Market sources small batch, artisan goods from farmers’ markets and local Texas businesses each month and gives 10% of their profits to the Houston Food Bank!

Bona Dea Pancake Mix ($5.99) This pancake mix is free from gluten, dairy, eggs, soy,  and nuts so you can use it to whip up a Texas sized spread for anyone!

It’s Non-GMO Project verified and made with organic whole grains.

District Roasters Farmer’s Market Blend Coffee ($10?) This Famer’s Market Blend was created exclusively for the box! All of their coffees are organic plus either are fair trade certified or part of a direct trade relationship.

The coffee has a deep chocolate flavor with notes of cinnamon and chocolate.

Blue Heron Farm ‘Fake It ‘Til You Make It’ Mug ($7?) This mug is HILARIOUS! I am seriously snorting every time I look at it. I am going to take this mug around for all my serious conversations so people have to laugh at this ridiculous goat.

The Tiny Collection Cinnamon Buns Mini Soy Candle ($11) This candle is made from US grown soy wax and is all natural and clean burning. It smells just like cinnamon rolls – warm and homey !

The King and I Blueberry Whipped Honey ($6.50) This honey spread is crafted from crystallized honey and dried blueberries with organic blueberry extract!

It tastes amazing and I love that it spreads thinly. It’s the perfect change of pace from jam on toast.  Plus, the profits from this company go directly to fund their ministry that provides refuge to trafficked and abused women and kids.

I loved this breakfast themed box! It was delicious, comforting, and funny, plus all the items had great stories to tell.
