Included in this month’s box were three pressed makeup products – 2 shadows and a blush! Peaceful was a pretty taupe, and Cheerful was an orangey copper.
I wasn’t crazy about the application of “Cheerful” – it turned out a bit splotchy. Peaceful on the other hand was rich, but I didn’t get a lot of the shimmer that was evident in the pan. The blush applied nicely, and I did a traditional swatch, as well as an “as applied” swatch – it’s the larger area of pink to the right of the swatch.
Empty Magnetic Palette ($28) Hello magnetic palette! This is chic and lovely, and not made of paper!
The top is an acrylic board that attaches via magnet via the four corners.

I love this! I’m hoping to see even more magnetic pots from this subscription. I think it’s great because it doesn’t depend on a proprietary interchangeable system. The only thing that was missing was magnetic stickers for other brands that you might want to de-pot and use with the palette.
The total retail value of the products was about $108. I think it’s a bit inflated (even for high quality natural vegan makeup) but everything is nice quality, and certainly worth the subscription price. Plus the palette is pretty fabulous and useful!
Sometime last month I got an offer to pick up this vegan face brush for the cost of shipping – $6.95. I decided to pick it up because I love the quality of their brushes and it’s a nice way to demonstrate the kinds of subscriber benefits you could see in the future with this box!
So fluffy! I no longer have the email, but I’m pretty sure that the deal was that this brush wouldn’t be in the box, and that they were only offering it once. The retail on this brush was $36.
