This Month’s Charm is Croc the Chick.
Every Super Cute Box subscriber gets a bracelet in their first box (see it here), as well as a featured charm of the month. For every month that follows, you will get another charm which you can add to the bracelet. The more charms, the merrier!
Bonus! Easter Egg Chocolates
To answer the question above, Croc’s egg rolled out of its nest and to a river where crocodiles live. Since hatching, Croc’s been brought up by crocodiles, which is why he’s crossing the swamp – to be with his “family.”
[I love that they gave Croc a backstory.]
Totoro Pencil or Makeup Case – This case is super cute and useful – you can slip in whatever you’d like. For me, I might use it to store some paper clips. I don’t think this bag is licensed. It also smelled very strongly when I removed it from the plastic.
Totoro Plush Purse: Devastatingly cute! Totoro is on a little plush zipper coin purse. It even has a little ball chain to attach it to your bag.
There were no tags so again I doubt it’s a licensed item.
Stami Studios Fox Birthday Card ($3.22) When I opened the box I saw this card. I have zero ? to give! Bwahahah.
Cutie Cat Earrings: I love it when I see a design I haven’t seen before. These cat earrings have a creamy pink stone in the center and the gold colored metal makes the hat. The pearl bead in the center of the bow is super sweet!
PonyBrown Notebook Tabs ($2.20) And a bit of stationery that’s just super cute. I like how the tabs already have writing on them but they also color coded so you can use them for whatever you’d like.
Sailor Mars Socks ($9.99) It’s Sailor Mars! On a sock! The design is executed well and her big eyes just gaze out on the side of each sock. Really fun but I have my doubts on the licensing of this product as well.
I think this box has a great idea with the monthly charm – it’s unique and fun. However, I think they’re still growing and could benefit from reaching out to the brands they love to include licensed items in the box. Regardless of that issue, my favorite thing in the box was the card – it was hilarious!
