Scent From is a new travel-inspired candle subscription from the UK, bringing carefully selected scented products to your mailbox every month. Each month is inspired by fragrance from around the world, in the form of candles and one home accessory. The subscription is $26.59 and ships worldwide. I really like that the monthly theme is right on the box! This month’s theme was Scent From Bangkok!
Everything came inside a cardboard box with a lot of paper worms to keep everything nice and safe through transit. Sadly, I can hear a weird clinking noise coming from the smaller box.
We received four items this month. We’ve got one candle, a set of tealight candles, a wax melt and an oil burner!
Natural Wax Tin Candle – Oriental Fig. A lovely sweet and fruity scent, almost like purple grapes, but not quite! I love the scent and the wax colour is just so pretty! I love the combination of the purple wax with the blue tin.
Flower Tealights. Aren’t they the prettiest little candles! And they smells like sweet flowers (I can’t quite put a name on the scent, sorry). I love them, but somehow, I wish they were the floating kind of candles. They just look like they would be perfect floating on water, like little lilypads!
Wax Melt in Thai Lime & Mango by Flamingo Candles. I definitely can smell the citrus from this melt! The mango adds a sweet profile, making it smells like a nice summery cocktail!
Buddha Head Oil Burner. I was so happy to see this Buddha Head in my box! You can either put some essential oil on the top of the head, or break the wax melt apart to get it to fit in there. Sadly, the top was broken when I opened the box, which explained the weird clinking noise coming from the box.
Yeah, I’m a bit disappointed.
It’s not too bad since I can twist the top so the broken part kinda match with the tealight opening in the back of the head.
I was so excited when they announced the theme for March’s Box! I really like the Oriental fig Candle, and the flower tealights are so cute and fun! You can spread them in a room just for a colourful decoration, and they smell quite nice! And the Buddha Head was a welcome addition to this box since we’ve received a couple of wax melt and now we can melt them peacefully! Everything smelled nice, everything was colourful, it was definitely my favourite box form Scent From (even though my Buddha Head is broken…)
Next month, we are going to Spain!
