Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” For only $15 per month, you receive four cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Subscriptions are available in 1, 3, 6, or 12-month terms and all items are sans the “Dirty Thirty” and of course free of all animal derived products.

The information card gave details of each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Have you ever wanted to build your own sample box? Petit Vour sells samples so you can basically build your own box!

Everything in my box!

I love body care products and Nubian Heritage Patchouli & Buriti Body Lotion ($3) smells divine! The scent was also long lasting and strong so no need to wear perfume after applying. Mango seed, shea, and cocoa seed butter are some of the featured soothers here along with buriti and patchouli oils. I don’t think it smells like patchouli, more of a rich, sweet gourmand scent and almost tropical in nature. The lotion is rich but absorbs quickly and didn’t leave me greasy at all.

French Girl Organics Cuticle Oil ($11.11) comes in a rollerball but is a little hard to use so I applied to my fingertip and then rubbed it into my cuticles. This brand is inspired by France and made in Seattle and they “test on French girls, never on animals.” It is made of organic argan, jojoba, sunflower, hemp, tamanu, and pomegranate oils and has a light citrus (and what I think smells like celery) scent that fades quickly.

Even the box that the MarieNatie Love Marie Lip Gloss ($18 CAD, around $13.39 USD) comes in is beautiful! They have 5 shades and I received Tickled, a pretty pink color. The formula is non-sticky and it left a pretty sheen behind. Can be used alone or over lip liner for a slightly darker effect and it’s made with grapeseed oil, vitamin E, coconut oil, and other moisturizing and anti-aging ingredients.

I’m a sunscreen lover and was happy to receive Suntegrity Skincare 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen in Light ($4.95). Suntegrity claims that this BB cream “treats, hydrates, protects, primes, and covers the skin.” It was a little tacky at first but blended in well. It didn’t cover up any redness and I still needed foundation but it enhanced my skin and, most importantly, helped block sun rays that may cause cancer. I didn’t detect any scent and my dry skin liked the extra dose of moisture.

From the top: BB cream (blended in), BB cream (thicker coating) , and lip gloss.

Petit Vour is one of my favorite subscriptions and this box had products that were perfect for me! I love sunscreen, the oil is great for my dry cuticles, I adore the formula and color of the lip gloss, and the lotion is my favorite product this month! This month’s box had a value of around $32.45, which is more than double the cost of the box!
