Pet Treater is a monthly dog treat, toy, and accessory box. Each box shipped results in a bag of treats, toy or accessory donated to a shelter in need. Choose from 3 size options (based on weight) to find the right fit for your furry friend – Small (0-20 pounds), Medium (21-50 pounds), and Large (51 + pounds). This is a review of the small dog box.

OMG! I love this meme. It reminds me of Lexi when she thinks I’m heading for the treat jar. I get plenty of kisses then.

DEAL:  Through 4/15 or while supplies last, new Pet Treater subscribers can use code FREE-PTBED at checkout to receive a free Pet Bed! OR Use LOVE-PT5 to take $5.00 off your first box.

Codes cannot be combined, and are only valid on your first box.

FYI: FIRST TIME subscribers will receive a first time box, which is full of past favorites and will NOT be a themed box.

It seems Pet Treater has changed a little this month – the personalized letter has been replaced with mass postcard. Anyway, the card was from Curly, who challenged pups to give kisses to everyone special in their lives. Use #pettreaterkisses when posting pictures of your pet giving kisses for a chance to be the dog of the month.

Our March Pet Treater box!

Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations | Shamrock Treat – Three Cheese Pleasers ($1.35): The girls have gotten treats from Emmy’s before with mixed reactions. Usually, they’ll decide they like the treat after it’s been hidden in one of their beds for a few days. This shamrock is chocked full of cheese, which the girls love, so it may go quicker.

Bow Wow Pets | Hoot, Tug, ‘n Squeak Plush Owl with Rope ($10.99): I thought this owl was super adorable. The rope legs are great for tug play or giving your pup something to chew. The body features a squeaker to keep your fur baby entertained (or in my house it’s used to remind me that playtime is not over).

Dingo | Market Cuts Farm Bites ($10.59): We’ve gotten a few different Dingo treats, and the girls have loved them all. So, I was happy to see these in the box. They didn’t disappoint – the girls gobbled these up quickly. The bag features 100 meaty chicken treats.

These treats are free of gluten, chicken by-products, and artificial flavors or colors. I like when I know and can say all of the ingredients in a food item.

Petlou | 8″ Sea Turtle Plush ($6.42):  This cute sea turtle is made of thick, durable plush with a squeaker and crinkles. It is double stitched on key seams for long lasting fun, and is designed for aggressive or tough chewers. Lily got super excited for this toy when she heard me press the squeaker; she ran across the house to get at it.

I need to remove the tags before she really gets into playing with the turtle, but I figured she’d be OK during her initial inspection.

Exclusively Dog | Mini Grahams Dog Treats ($9.25): These smell so delicious, I had to look twice to make sure they were for the dogs. My girls are fans of graham crackers, and I was sure these were going to be a hit (which they were). Now I can eat my crackers in peace while the girls enjoy theirs!

Nature’s Miracle | Flashlight Dog Pickup Bag Dispenser ($4.00): First thing I want to say is that Pet Treater was nice enough to include two CR2025 batteries. I hate when you get a new electronic item and have to wait until you get batteries to use it. This bag dispenser couldn’t have come at a better time – somehow one of the dispensers fell off a leash and wasn’t found. I love that this has an LED light because it makes me feel better walking the girls when it’s dark.

Sorry, I had to show this because it features directions on how to use the bags. I didn’t know picking up poo was so complicated. LOL.

**HUMAN TREAT** Sprigs | Cableknit EarBags – Brown, Medium ($15.00): I’ve never seen these before, but they’re basically earmuffs without the headband. You slip them over your ears and then clip them in place. They were interesting and, yes, I absolutely had to try them on.

Here’s what they look like out of the package, they’ve got fleece on the inside and the outside is a chocolate cable knit. I found these in an assortment of colors online.

And here they are on me!

And of course, there was a coupon for Hello Fresh. Remember, as a Hello Subscription reader you can save $40 off your first box. Use coupon code 7UT7K8.

There was also information on how to submit your fur baby for consideration as Pet of the Month.

The March Pet Treater box was around $58. I was happy that this box made up for last month with my girls. They really love the treats that were received. We’re saving the toys for later, but the girls had a good time with them while we were doing this review.

I can’t wait to see what next month has in store for us. The theme is Spring Into Action.
