Pet Treater is a monthly dog treat, toy, and accessory box. Each box shipped results in a bag of treats, toy or accessory donated to a shelter in need. Choose from 3 size options (based on weight) to find the right fit for your furry friend – Small (0-20 pounds), Medium (21-50 pounds), and Large (51 + pounds). This is a review of the small dog box.

LOL! That reminds me a little of my first kiss – sloppy and not quite placed right. Happy Valentine’s Day. ?

They remembered Lexi this month. Yay! Last month, she was left off the letter.

This month, the girls got a letter from Lucy telling them to show their love for their humans and to avoid chocolate.

The February Pet Treater box!

Before I begin, let me introduce you to the newest member of our family pack – Bailey Jade. She’s my sister’s new 6-wk old Yorkie/Pomeranian pup. Don’t let that cute teddy bear face and small stature fool you. Bailey is already trying to keep up with the big girls and is a bit of a diva.

Nylabone Dura Toy – Heart & Rope ($17.50): This toy uses is a combination of the Dura Chew and Dura-Core Rope. It is durable enough to withstand hard play and the chicken flavored center heart uses nylon action nubs to remove plaque and keep teeth clean. It’s a bit big, but we think that Bailey will grow into her toy. At least for now, it gives her something to chew on besides the furniture.

Grriggles Fresh Water Berber Dino – Small, Pink ($1.40): This soft berber plush dino measures 6″ and features a squeaker. Lily was so excited when I pressed the squeaker that she tackled me to get at the toy.

Here’s a shot of Lily jumping up to get the dino.

FURminator Hair Collection Roller ($4.99): This adhesive roller will help lift fur and dirt from fabrics. The way my girls shed, I should invest in FURminator stocks. Honestly, this was my favorite item in the box because it will get the most use. Lint rollers are like shoes around here – you can never have enough!

Dakota Treats Bully Sticks 2-pk ($4.65): A two pack of bully sticks to appease your pup’s chewing instincts. My sister’s older dog, Lola, loves bully sticks and these went home with her.

Dentley’s Nature’s Chews Dog Treats – Dried Lamb Lung Cubes ($9.99): I couldn’t find these exact treats online and linked to something similar. The treats are cubed and dried lamb lung pieces. Warning – these do have a strong aroma to them. If you are sensitive to meaty scents, particularly organ meats, be forewarned. I thought my girls were going to go gaga over these, but they did not like them. On the other hand, my sister’s girls LURVED them! They gobbled theirs up and then helped themselves to Lily and Lexi’s abandoned treats.

On the attack. Here’s Bailey attacking the bag to get another treat while Lily and Lola look on.

Emmy’s Treats “Luv” Cookie – Carob Peanut Butter Crunch ($1.35): As you can see, our cookie did not survive the trip. These all-natural homemade cookies are a sweet way to show your fur baby some extra luv for Valentine’s. The cookies are made with rice flour, water, barley flour, peanut butter, peanuts, honey, carob powder, cinnamon, and Vitamin E. As per usual, my dogs ate the frosting and left me naked cookies on the floor.

However, Bailey tackled her little sliver and loved it.

How Smart Is Your Dog? by Parragon Books ($9.99): I always knew that my girls had some deficiencies, but this book really highlights them while giving me a laugh. This book finally answers the question of how smart your dog really is.

How smart is your dog? Score your pet’s “”doggy IQ”” with this set of challenges to test your pet’s memory and teach him new skills. It’s a fun, quirky gift for any dog owner!

Pet Treater “Free Slobbery Kisses!” Scarf ($10?): Again, Pet Treater, you have stumped me. Why would you add a scarf that is obviously for a large dog into a box assortment for a small dog??? I love the free kisses advert and wish that this could fit one of my girls.

**HUMAN TREAT** Adirondack Mens Socks sz. 10-13 ($5.00): These boot socks are 78% Polyester, 15% Acrylic, 5% Wool, and 1% Rubber and Spandex. I like that this pair is thick and warm. For those of you living up north, these would be great during the winter. BTW, I lost these to my dad, who nabbed them as soon as he saw them.

And of course, there was a coupon for Hello Fresh. Remember, as a Hello Subscription reader you can save $40 off your first box. Use coupon code 7UT7K8.

There was also information on how to submit your fur baby for consideration as Pet of the Month.

February’s Pet Treater box was nearly $55. This wasn’t a favorite box for my fur babies, but my sister’s girls lucked out and happily accepted the offerings. St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and the March box theme is Kiss Me, I’m Cute.
