This is my very first Orange Glad box and it says it will “make 1-2 people happy.” I enlisted my husband and daughter to try these treats so 3 people were made happy this month!

There was an information book inside that contained details about the companies, treats, and best-by dates.

I enjoyed reading about the makers and learning a bit about their companies!

I received 2 brownies, 1 pack of cookies, 1 pack of caramels, and 1 package of hard candies. Everything arrived in perfect condition.

There were two brownies from Salt of the Earth Bakery, which features all-natural, kosher snacks that are made in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Kona was a little too moist for my tastes, almost like melted chocolate, but I enjoyed the rich espresso flavor.

The Brownie was more to my liking, texture-wise. It was still very moist, with a sweet chocolate flavor and crackly, crisp exterior.

How cute is this Variety Mix Rock Candy from Raley’s Confectionary? Handmade in Tallahassee, Florida, this sweet treat looks like a miniature work of art!

There was an assortment of 8 different flavors: banana, pomegranate, watermelon, root beer, blueberry, tutti-frutti, cherry, and raspberry. The “picture” on the inside tells you which flavor you’re about to eat, but you can take a look at their website to see exactly which is which!

Hard Crack Original Toffee Cookie This little cookie packs a big buttery punch! Hard Crack is located in New York and started out by making their own toffee, and now they add it to crisp cookies!

I received two packs of 3 cookies each.

Looky, looky, whata cookie! This is like a cross between shortbread and toffee, very tasty!

Well, it looks like Columbus, Ohio-based Three Kids and a Kitchen have closed up shop but luckily I was able to try their delicious Old Fashioned & Salted Caramels before they stirred their last batch.

These caramels were so wonderfully soft, creamy, chewy (without fearing for my teeth), and buttery. Did I mention how soft they were? There was just a touch of crystally crunch from the salt and that just made them taste all the better.

I enjoyed my first Orange Glad box and was so excited to see what our country’s talented artisan dessert makers came up with! Everything was delicious, fresh, easy to share, and just generally yummy! This is a super box for treating yourself at the end of the day, especially if, like me, you are a hardworking parent who doesn’t always have time to bake and who wants something different than the usual store bought cookies.
