The Nerdy Byrd is a geeky sub shipping out of the UK. They have a box subscription and a shirt shop featuring the shirts sent in the subscription. Right now the boxes only ship to the UK, but the shirts ship worldwide. They’re expanding to the US shortly, which is exciting!

The Nerdy Byrd’s premium boxes don’t include pins, stickers or candy. You will receive an exclusive t-shirt from The Nerdy Byrd new to the box.

The box comes packaged in a huge plain cardboard box, but it’s the contents inside that are exciting. Since this box is from the UK, I was unable to find most products for sale in the US or Canada. This box cost £49.99, but the next box is £59.99. We think it’s a monthly box release and not necessarily a recurring subscription yet, but the boxes are so amazing, you’ll probably want to sign up each month.

Scooby Who T-Shirt ($14) An original Nerdy Byrd design, though the concept has been done before. I love this with the retro graffiti on the TARDIS and K-9 with a Scooby coat of paint.

Star Wars Wall Clock ($19) With a TIE Fighter as the small hand and the Death Star as the big hand, this clock is so awesome. It’s hard to see in this photo, but it has a 3D effect with hyperdrive marks on both the glass and the back panel.

Action shot! I love how it looks in my kitchen.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3D Framed Poster ($16) A 3D print of the Guardians poster in a frame you can mount on the wall, or you can stand it upright as the base is quite deep.

Doctor Who 3D Framed Poster ($16!) And a Doctor Who print, too — this one features the famous enemies of the series including the Daleks, the Weeping Angels, and a vintage design Cyberman.

Death Star Moodlight ($29.90) I pulled this out of the box and had a mini freakout — well, I did with this entire box, as Brandy can testify! But this is a USB powered Death Star Moodlight! I prompty cleaned my desk shelf and made room.

[Editor’s Note: Valerie was so ridiculously excited about this box she sent me a video of herself opening all the items, because this box is #1 huge and #2 has an insane number of hero items! The shot at the top is from the video. This was a true Christmas morning experience.]

The glowing effect is subtle, and you can tell where the two sides weren’t glued together evenly, but I love it. I looooove it.

Death Trooper Keyring Light ($9) Full disclosure — I haven’t seen Rogue One yet. It’s on my list! This keyring is awesome, and the light works well.

Very handy to have around and it looks so cool.

Darth Vader Colour-Changing Glass ($15.25) This thick black pint glass has art of the Death Star on one side, and Darth Vader on the reverse. The downside of colour changing glasses is you have to handwash only, which is a pain. Still, this looks SO cool.

The value of the April box was over $90! That is an insane amount of value and all of the items are licensed aside from the shirt. I loved everything, and this was such a fun box to open! We’re really looking forward to this box opening its US shop, honestly, there’s not another box like this one!
