Nerd Block is a monthly mystery geek & pop culture subscription box. Every month includes a new shirt and Nerd Block boxes are typically filled with fun toys and figurines and other geek accessories. It really is a box for everyone who enjoys nerdy and pop culture things.

Every box contains the new Nerd Block Magazine.

This month’s theme is Team Up. The magazine comes with feature stories — this ranks the original Power Ranger Dinozords…

… and the Invasion of the Body Hackers: Good Guy Cyborgs.

There’s also a word search puzzle in this issue.

The centerfold gives you a list of all the items included, plus a brief description of them.

Everything in the March box!

Marvel Blind Bag Collectible Lapel Pins ($5?) This blind bag has one of 25 fun cartoon Marvel characters!

We got Spidey! This is super fun, and it even has the actual spider on his chest. It’s just too cute. I think this is a great item for the Team Up theme!

Harry Potter Death Eaters Mask Key Fob ($5?) Exclusive to the box! The key fob features 6 different Death Eaters masks.

This is mildly terrifying (and theme wise I guess “Team Up”… with Voldemort?). The “handle” part is stretchy elastic, which is a nice touch, especially if you love to carry your keys on your wrist.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Green Ranger Water Bottle ($10?) This first-to-market item is debuting exclusively in the box! I really like how Nerd Block is differentiating between exclusive items vs. items available for sale at a later date.

Also, this water bottle is RAD.

I while fight evil and defend Earth while being completely hydrated!

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Coasters ($7?) Exclusive to Nerd Block!

These coasters are a unique shape, and have the animal for each Ranger.

The coasters themselves are pressboard. They aren’t forever coasters but in my experience, we get a few years’ use out of this style, so I’m happy with them.

The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook by Dinah Bucholz ($12.20) We were SO pumped to pull this out of the box! Not only is my daughter an extreme Harry Potter fan, she’s also ridiculously obsessed with crazy cookbooks!

This book has 150 Potter inspired recipes “sure to make even Mrs. Weasley proud!”

The edges are deckled too – a really nice touch for this important tome.

The author drew inspiration from Harry Potter quotes, and provides recipes to match.

I feel like I’m in for some serious shopping for this fanatic (alas, it’s virtually impossible to recreate the Universal Studios Butterbeer at home but give this one a shot). She’s getting this book in her Easter basket. Even without this kid’s love for Harry Potter & cookbooks, we think this is a fantastic item!

ShirtPunch! Devastator T-Shirt ($15) Can I say rad twice in a review? RAD SHIRT! We just rewatched the latest Transformers movie this weekend, it’s one of my favorite franchises. And I just LOVE the color scheme.

The only downer for me is now my Decepticon wearables outnumber my Autobots wearables! With Transformers: The Last Knight dropping in June I have faith that this situation will be remedied soon.

I thought this month’s Nerd Block Classic was fan-tastic! It was a great mix of items for new and seasoned geeks alike with a bit of a focus on some powerhouse franchises that we are all loving right now. One of my favorite boxes from them!

Is the last Transformers the one with Mark Whalburg? I’ve been wanting to see that one. I’ve seen all the Shia ones. Is it on one of the channels? I’ve been looking for it. I’m loving that cookbook. I saw the picture and had to check it out. That sounds like so much fun to cook.

Showtime? Starz? It was definitely on! Warning – it is VERY LONG.
