Nerd Block Jr is a subscription box for kids ages 6-11 (you pick the box – boy or girl) that is a monthly surprise of fun little toys for your little nerd. They’re part of the Nerd Block Family – check any of them out here.

DEAL: Save 15% on your first month with coupon code HelloSub16.

All the items!

The outside of the box is so cute and fun, and the information card has a puzzle!

Everything in the March 2017 box!

Emoji Eraser Blind Bag ($5.99)

???? These are fun and so relevant for me! I mean my KIDS! ?

Angry Birds Poster Book ($3.64) Perennial favorite Angry Birds is in this box with a fun poster book!

There are 40 removable 2-sided posters.

These are so wacky you’ll get a good laugh just flipping through.

Dork Diaries Book & Stickers ($7.92)  The OMG!: All About Me Diary! lets kids create their own dork diary.

It was actually pretty neat and not all that dorky. There’s space to go back and follow up with your thoughts the next year. I really liked how it encouraged creativity, and writing of course!

Some fun stickers were included too.

Pokemon Lanyard: This is actually on Amazon for $16.99! It’s a high quality lanyard with a breakaway collar, large vinyl pokeball, and 2-sided lanyard print.

We are still loving Pokemon Go – this is a great item!

Shopkins 2-Pack Fashion Tags: So cute! These fun Shopkins necklaces are just super sweet. The cupcake is our favorite! A single blind bag fashion tag is $4.99 on Amazon, so this set is probably $5 or $6.

National Geographic Kids April 2017 Issue ($4.99) We are so happy to see this in the box every month! My daughter loves reading this cover to cover.

And I love that there aren’t just fun wacky facts, but they also tackle critical thinking issues, like spotting fake news (but in a fun, lighthearted way).

ShirtPunch! Power Rangers Angel Grove High School T-Shirt ($12?) Angel Grove High School Youth Camp – perfect for a little Power Ranger!

TIP: if you or your kids like shirts more fitted than youth sizes, get a women’s size small, which this is. We do it for both boys & girls shirts, and it works great.

Nerd Block seems to be great at finding cutesy licensed items that seem popular with girls, and about half the box is gender neutral. Whatever my daughter doesn’t grab, my son does, and the rest makes it into our official Birthday Gift Box – I can’t say enough how nice it is to have ready to go gifts that are trendy and fun for all those parties. This month it was the Angry Birds (none of us really know anything about them), but they have friends that play! My son claimed dibs on the shirt and my children are currently negotiating Pokemon lanyard ownership with a potential shared custody agreement on the horizon.

What did you think of this month’s Nerd Block Jr: Girls?
