Nerd Block Jr is a subscription box for boys or girls ages 6-11 (you pick the box – boy or girl) that is a monthly surprise of fun little toys for kids. They’re part of the Nerd Block Family – check any of them out here. With my two boys, we get the boy box. There is no hiding this box when it comes. The design on the outside is phenomenal and you really know what you are getting. I love the vibrant blue and green all around and through the box.

First look in our March box. There isn’t much packaging to these as all the items are just in the box itself but with the pattern of the box, all the way through it still looks awesome!

DEAL: Save 15% on your first month with coupon code HelloSub16.

The information card provides a list of all the items included in the box.

Everything in the March 2017 box!

Power Rangers T-shirt from Shirtpunch – My boys really want to see the new movie. I did chuckle when I read the shirt since I graduated highschool in 1993 so its like an alumni shirt for me. My boys thought it was pretty cool.

Angry Birds Poster Book ($3.64) – My youngest ran off with this and some washi tape and was ready to add them to his walls. I told him to slow down but it won’t be long before they are everywhere. He loves angry birds and posters so this is a great book for him.

Transformers Dog Tags – More fun for my boys. We like the Transformers movies and these are just fun to have in the dress up play bin.

Galactic Hot Dog Cosmos Wiener Getaway ($6.08) – We have never heard of this series but it it is listed for kids 8-12 and is called a mix between Captain Underpants and Star Wars. While not a true graphic novel there are lots of illustrations on the pages and my 9-year-old said it is his book to read this week. This is the first book in the series and if he loves it we’ll grab the next couple for him to continue with.

Meet Cosmoe, the Earth-Boy. He’s captain of the Neon Weiner, the finest flying food truck in the galaxy. Along with his bud, Big Humphree, he spends his days cruising the cosmos and staying crazy busy

1. Cooking up a Mega-Dog. (Dude, this hot dog is the size of a jeep!)

2. Escaping mutant worm monsters, zombie space pirates, and grumpy robots. (What the butt?!)

3. Playing Super Moon Ninja Death Jab (Turbo Ear Slap! 9,000 points!!)

4. And…PROTECTING THE GALAXY from the Ultimate Evil. (He’s kind of an awesome space guy.)

Pokemon Ball Lanyard – We still play Pokemon Go and both of my boys love the cards and the figures. This is a fun extra and it is so true that you Gotta Catch ‘Em All. It really is an addiction.

National Geographic Kids ($4.99 each or you can get a year with 10 for $15) – I’m loving that they keep sending this magazine in our box. I’m a paper magazine girl and I love that my boys can sit down without an electronic device and read. They both go through the magazine each month and ask so many questions. It is great!

Emoji Eraser Blind Bag ($5.99) – Each bag comes with 3 erasers and I got the Poop emoji!!! As with last month, we love the poop emoji here and my boys were cracking up with this one. It is already on the desk and ready to erase something and they have shown it to all of their friends that have come over so far. It is by far the best eraser ever.

We again love our monthly box from Nerd Block Jr.! I would be happy with a nerdy type book in every box but we’ll take them when they come and are great in getting my boys to read more. Between the book and the poop emoji, my boys think this is the best box ever and can’t wait to see what is in for the next month. They love all the different franchises represented and that they mix it up each month so they get different things to freak out about each time.

They have already announced some spoilers for Aprils box. Each box will contain an awesome Disney toy, a wearable item from Sonic the Hedgehog, and GIJoe and Minions items!
