The Mitten Adventure is a monthly lifestyle box that contains five to seven items inspired by Liz Ball’s travels around Michigan. Liz Ball, a freelance writer, also describes her travels on The Mitten Adventure Blog. The items may be Michigan themed, adventure or camping oriented, inspiration or unique artisan items. The items may include “jewelry, fashion and home accessories, home decor, stationery, lifestyle items & more.” The longer you subscribe, the more you save.

The information card welcomes us to the very first The Mitten Adventure Box! It also contains the items, prices, and descriptions.

Here are the items in the April’s The Mitten Adventure Box. I can’t wait to take a closer look because I have fond memories of my childhood in Michigan.

How awesome is this mug! The Mitten Adventure Mug ($14.75) is a porcelain coated-steel mug. The Enamelware Mug is a staple that Liz Ball uses when camping. It also makes for a fun picnic mug. I plan to use it outdoors as I enjoy the beautiful weather.

The Paracord Keychain by Black Ice Paracord holds your keys and is also a firestarter.

My 18-year-old claimed it.

I have yet to visit Mackinac Island. The Mackinac Island Fudge Candle by Mitten Candle Co (8 oz, $10.00) left my mouth watering for fudge. It really does smell like fudge! The soy candle has an approximate burn time of 40-50 hours.

Hearth and Harvest Homestead is a 13-acre farm located in Northern Michigan. They sell items from their farm including Hearth & Harvest Farmstead Handmade Soap with Pure Goats Milk Rosemary Mint (4.8 oz, $4.50).

The soap is packaged in a cardboard box. The colors remind me of spring.

It lathered easily and had a mint scent tempered down by the rosemary scent. It’s a beautiful addition to the box.

Add sparkles to your upcoming adventures with the Silver Druzy Earrings by Snowing Stars. The silver posts are lead, nickel, and cadmium free. The earrings are beautiful.

The set of five Tiny Michigan Notecards (pack of 5, $10.00) were created by Macro Photographer Zen Master Lauren.

The colors are vivid and spark the imagination.

It also sparked a disagreement with my husband who did not believe me when I told him that the Upper Peninsula is part of Michigan. He thought it was the mitten only.

The above two cards are my favorite. The cards are blank inside. I will be using them to write letters.

The April The Mitten Adventure Box is off to a strong start. The candle and soap smelled amazing. The mug and paracord keychain are useful in outdoor adventures. The cards are unique and Michigan themed. Plus there are sparkling earrings. I’m curious what will be in the May box! It’s an enjoyable lifestyle box centered around Michigan.
