In every box, you’ll get a hand-picked selection of must-have beauty fixes, which are wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. It will always include a minimum of six products and the latest issue of Elle UK!
There is a magazine by Look Fantastic in each box as well – this includes the product information, makeup tutorials, style highlights, and other features. It’s about darn time we had an ELLE collab box since we always get an issue of the magazine!
Redken Heatcure Mask ($8.25) A self-heating hair mask with argan oil and other reparative ingredients. This is an interesting product – the tab on the top is pulled off to expose “vents” over the inner foil. The package immediately begins to heat up. I left it warming while I shampooed my hair then opened the packet. It’s more than enough for one treatment (I have bust-length fine hair) and smells amazing. The product warmed up nicely, and it definitely felt luxurious letting it soak in for the 10 minute suggested time.
Starskin Eye Catcher ($6.39) I’ve never heard of Starskin before so I’m excited to try these eye masks! Bio-cellulose fits like a second skin and the essence includes fermented coconut juice.
Caudalie VineActive 3 in 1 Moisturizer ($16.92) I’m excited to try this Caudalie moisturiser. It’s a new product and is meant to also help protect skin from pollutants. It includes vitamin E, vitamin E, grapeseed oil, sunflower seed oil, and shea butter extract. It can be used alone or after a serum.
Skinchemists 24 HR Aqua Repair Facial Serum ($48.54) WHOA. This product is full-size! I love that this will work perfectly with the Caudalie moisturiser – in fact, I’ve been using them together this week and they’ve kept my skin so hydrated and soft. I love it.
PUR Minerals Disappearing Act Concealer ($1.33) A sample of Pur’s concealer. This shade is Light and it works pretty well with my skin tone. It’s easy to blend.
St. Tropez Instant Tan Gloss ($4.65) I don’t use self-tanner so this will be gifted.
Effortlessly gliding onto skin, the convenient gloss delivers an instant high-shine effect that can simply be rinsed away with water. The lightweight formula works to enhance an existing tan, or can be worn alone for an immediate skin boost.
The concealer is a pretty good match.
Along with the month’s issue of ELLE, Look Fantastic is my favourite beauty box right now. I love when we get to check out new brands from the UK and Europe that aren’t as accessible here in Canada, too. The value of this month’s box was around $85 and over half of that value was just from the Skinchemists serum – which is full-size!
