Know Yourself Adventure Series is an educational activity subscription for kids. For $24.99 per month, you will receive materials that will help you teach your child about a new system of the body. The people behind this subscription believe that “when kids understand how their bodies and minds work, they are more confident, have higher self-esteem, and are better equipped to handle life’s challenges.”
There’s a total of 12 adventures in this series. Each adventure teaches about one particular body system and one notable tourist attraction from all around the world.
This box is Adventure #1. It teaches the kids about The Five Senses and takes them to Ancient Greece too!
A sticker sheet was included in the box. My kids liked them!
First item from the box: a limited-edition Time Skaters comic book.
The comic book had awesome illustrations and my kids had fun reading the dialogues!
Next up is a fold-out Adventure Map to show the kids where they’re going!
Materials for self-literacy experiments were also provided in the box. Each one of these experiments correspond to each of the five senses. Items include a super stretchy Wonder Putty, an egg shaker, a magnifying glass, and invisible ink pens with built-in UV light.
Look! The box included fun fold-out paper toys that my children enjoyed playing with.
Aside from subscriptions, Know Yourself also offers workbooks like Dr. Bonyfide, an instructional series about the human anatomy. Information about these workbooks were included in an information card.
Another information card reminds us to share our experience on social media.
Fun and learning is always a great combination, which is why Know Yourself is a win for us. This box is ideal for kids age 7+ and encourages independent learning. However, we also found that younger kids can also enjoy the box through side-by-side learning.
Adventure #2 is about the Skeletal System and it will also take the kids to St. Petersburg, Russia. We’re excited!
