From Japan Crate comes Kira Kira Crate, a box dedicated to Japanese beauty! Kira Kira means “to sparkle” and with this box full of makeup, skincare, and other tools from Japan, you will sparkle as well! I’ve always loved Japanese cosmetics, but they are extremely pricey. Even the drugstore lines, adorable as they are, are costly to import. There have been a few boxes that have tried to do a J-beauty box, but it really is cost prohibitive, so I’m very excited to see what Kira Kira Crate has in store!

The booklet included with the box has a brief welcome letter, a list of the products included, and additional pages give English instructions for each product.

Shiseido Supermild Shampoo & Conditioner Travel Set I have used quite a few of Shiseido’s haircare lines – Ma Cherie and Tsubaki being my two favourites. The Supermild line is a haircare line especially for people with sensitive skin/scalps and fine hair. It is loaded with vitamin E. The scent is very light, not heavily fragranced like Shiseido’s other products. Honestly, I like my haircare with that fragrance that lingers, but obviously, that wouldn’t be ideal for sensitive skin! Note: this shampoo is not SLS-free.

Mango Milk Bath I love bath salts and Japan does awesome ones. This blend has mango and milk in it to soften and smooth. I’m really excited to give it a try.

Diamond Jewelry Scrub A soft sugar scrub for exfoliating the face. This actually contains a small amount of diamond powder in it.

Hello Kitty Cherry Blossom Sheet Masks I received these previously in nmnl. The package is resealable to keep the masks moist.

Disney Minnie Mouse Nail Stickers These are absolutely adorable! But my nail beds are very short and so most of these designs will be too large. I think the stripes and dots would work as accent nails, though.

Fuwa Marsh Eyebrow Powder This eyebrow kit includes stencils as well as four different shades of powder to create the gradient brown look, or you could use them individually.

This month’s Kira Kira Crate had some unique items as well as some repeat products. I’m most excited about the sugar scrub.
