Kal-Elle Fandom Monthly is a fandom inspired box that sends 4-7 pieces of hand selected jewelry and collectibles each month. Kal-Elle announces the theme each month ahead of time so you can go in and skip if it is a fandom you just aren’t into.

The theme for March is Super Mario. I’m a bit older so I remember getting this on my original Nintendo and playing for hours and hours. I still love playing it when we pull out the newer versions but nothing will beat that original one.

With the main goodies wrapped in her classic hot pink tissue, you can’t really see what you are getting until you dig all the way in. I was super excited when pulling them all out.

The information card has a print with the theme on one side and on the back is a list of the included items with any artist info and website links for included items.

Super Mario Necklace (Designed by Kal-Elle) – I love that this is in black. While I like my silver and gold jewelry this looks fantastic in black and will be a great accent piece to an outfit.

Yoshi Earrings – These are so stinkin’ cute. I have double holes and I think these would be great in my upper holes as just a little fun to go with a more dangly lower earring.

Star Ear Cuff – I’ve never worn an ear cuff before but this looks fun. I’m going to try it out when I’m trying to be a bit edgy one night.

Ghost Ring – This ring isn’t listed on my info sheet but it totally goes with this theme. It is an adjustable ring so most people will be able to wear it.

Coasters (Designed by Kal-Elle) – My absolute favorite item in the box. They are unexpected and just so cute.  I’m trying to decide if I really want to use them or just display them since they make me so happy.

Super Mario Notepad – I love office supplies and I write notes all the time. My youngest son has just started setting up his desk and he asked for this one so I’m going to let him have it. I’m thinking I might tell him he needs to write me notes on it so we can work on his writing and have some fun all at the same time. Cute office supplies make all work better and much less tedious.

Super Mario Magnet – Each month we get a themed magnet and they go right on my fridge. We love them and these are very graphic and vibrant they really jump out at to me. I will say that I hate that stupid big bullet he has killed me so many times. This one at least has a place to drop down on but some you have to go under and I suck at the duck and slide move. I just can’t get it.

4″x 6″ Art print ( by Megan E. Risk) – The included monthly art prints are all the same style and I love it. I’m planning to add these to my office wall and I love that they feel cohesive while still representing different fandoms.

Pure Aurora Pineapple Star Lipbalm – I’m a lipbalm junkie and this one goes on smooth and smells great. It’s going into my stash.

What a fun month for my  Kal-Elle Fandom Monthly box. Since I am a bit older than some, I remember the original days of Super Mario and all the fun it had. I’m having fun now going back and playing the games with my boys and letting them get into the fandom of it. Kal-Elle does such a great job of not only sending jewelry but other extras that you can use around your house and can rep your love of a fandom without the basic items you see all the time in the stores. I love the exclusiveness of the items and they are always a great quality and look fantastic.

She has posted that the next couple of months themes will be: Pirates of the Caribbean is next and then Wonder Woman after that just in time for the new movie!
