Horror Block is a monthly subscription box filled with some awesomely gruesome horror toys and collectibles. The Horror Block box ships at the very end of the month, so this is the March Box. I never know what kind of items they are going to include in this box so I can’t wait to open it each month.

I love the designs of these boxes and how the pattern goes all the way through it. The bright red and black always screams blood and guts which goes great for a horror box.

Everything that came in my March box. This month was great with 8 items with 4 of them being Exclusive to Horror Block.

I like getting my information in the small magazine format. It has notes from the curators, a list of items included and then extra interviews and other horror related info.

The note this time talks about all the things that Nerd Block is looking forward to this March. I had to laugh since my mom just bought my boys a Nintendo Switch that we will be picking up at Easter and then I went to see Beauty and the Beast for my birthday with friends. I love when they Nerd Block people and I are on the same wavelength.

This month we have a total of 8 items in the box! Looking at the info pages I see a very red theme going on this month.

Starry Eyes DVD ($13.99) – Horror Block always includes movies I’ve never heard of which is fun for me to get into and explore and watch. This month we could get one of 4 different DVDs. Starry Eyes like I got, The Canal, The Stranger, or Poker Night. I love a good rags-to-riches type story so I’m happy with the one I got.

Determined to make it as an actress in Hollywood, Sarah Walker spends her days working a dead-end job, enduring petty friendships and going on countless casting calls in hopes of catching her big break.

After a series of strange auditions, Sarah lands the leading role in a new film from a mysterious production company. But with this opportunity comes bizarre ramifications that will transform her both mentally and physically into something beautiful… and altogether terrifying.

Penny Dreadful Ceramic Travel Mug – This is a Horror Block exclusive item and from the show Penny Dreadful which I have not watched yet but I keep getting such great items from that show and now I really want to check it out. Once I get my office redone I’ll add it to my list of shows to binge.

Evil Dead Ash Socks – We don’t watch this show but my boys always have socks pulled up to their knees and they ran right off with these.  They are nice and thick and horror without being too crazy so they are ok for them to wear.

Vampirella Comic Book – This is another exclusive and I love how it came in the box. It was in a protective sleeve with a piece of cardboard to keep it flat and in the bottom of the box. They really tried to keep the comic in tip top shape.

Beginning a new and VERY different direction! Vampirella was last spotted in 2016 doing what she does best—defending the world from threats both mystic and evil. She hasn’t been seen since. Now, over a thousand years later, she’s poised to make her fateful return, but the world that awaits her is unlike anything she might expect—or want to defend! Written by acclaimed comics, novel and television writer Paul Cornell (This Damned Band, Doctor Who) and illustrated by the masterful Jimmy Broxton (Goldtiger, Knight & Squire), it’s the start of an adventure for Vampirella unlike any she’s had in her long and storied history. Don’t miss the train before it leaves the station!

Leprechaun Pin – Another exclusive and a great item for March and St. Patrick’s Day.

Rue Morgue Library #9 Shark Movie Mania  ($9.95) – Sharks are always fun reads! I love getting the magazine but I love getting the books too. I go through them all and read the behind the scenes and extra info that is always included.

No living creature on Earth evokes the primal terror that sharks do. And none has prowled and savaged the screen in more different variations and scenarios than these killer fish.

The ninth installment of the Rue Morgue Library surveys the full history of shark cinema, from Steven Spielberg’s classic JAWS, through its notorious Italian ripoffs, to the unstoppable SHARKNADO franchise and beyond.

Shirtpunch Totem Pole T-shirt (This is an exclusive but other Shirtpunch shirts go for $19.99) – This shirt is fantastic. I love the color and the pattern and the totems. Horror Block suggests that if people ask about it to tell them its a “monstrous stack of menacing mercenary!” Then try and say that three times fast. I can’t wait to give it a whirl when someone asks.
Another stocked full box from Horror Block this month. Lots of exclusive items and fun extras. They are really making me check out new to me shows and movies and that is always welcome. I love that the shirt wasn’t a set fandom this month but more a general shirt that can be worn whenever. Did you see my red theme I mentioned at the top? Everything just has a red look to it this month and that screens blood and horror to me and is so great for this box.

Spoilers for next month include items from April’s Horror Block is coming alive with items and exclusives that are bound to unleash your inner horror nerd. April’s block includes an object straight from Transylvania, a lively item from Puppet Master 3 and something from the Court of the Dead that’ll Rise. Conquer. Rule!
