There are specific reading/storytelling tips for different stages and ages. Even you’re not a first time parent, I think these will still be useful. There are also lists of age-appropriate book suggestions that we might just actually try!
Highlights Hello – My First Highlights Magazine.
Colorful images and read-aloud stories are always a win! Kids love looking at big bright photos and my little ones are no exception.
The magazine also includes activities that help improve vocabulary – while still providing a fun experience for kids!
I like the length of the stories – it fits a toddler’s attention span just right!
Aside from stories, there are also short poems that tickle a young mind’s imagination.

This puzzle book also comes for free in every Highlights Hello issue.
Overall, I think Highlights Hello is a great subscription because it sparks creative play, promotes parent-child bonding, and supports early language development. Storytelling tips for parents are a big plus too! Aside from the content, I appreciate that all the reading materials are durable and tear-resistant. They also send the packages in a sealed envelope so the items arrives germ-free! Looking forward to the next ones already!
