DegustaBox is a monthly subscription box that brings your favorite food and snacks to your doorstep. The subscription costs $19.99 per month in the US, £12.99 per month in the UK and you’ll get a box filled with 10-15 products and goodies! We love this box and all of the goodies that come for us to try. I love the size of this box. It is always big and so full!

The brown butcher paper keeps all of the yummies nice and neat inside. DegustaBox does a great job of wrapping the glass jars in bubble wrap and keeping things from getting broken and there are so many full-size items in the box everything is all packed in and good for shipping.

DEAL: For a limited time get your first box for $10 off – just $9.99! Use code HELLOSUBSCRIPTION. You’ll also get free shipping and a free bonus gift!

Everything in the April box!

The information sheets are always great and full of information on the included items.

The back has a recipe or two with some of the included items. I can’t wait to try the mug brownies.

Nando’s Peri Peri Garlic Sauce ($2.72) – I can’t wait to try this one. I’ve liked all the Peri Peri sauces we’ve gotten in past boxes but they are normally spicy and this one is garlic which is one of my go-to flavors when cooking. This one is going to be good when I have time to make something.

Lovely Candy Caramels ($2.49) – Yum, yum, yum! Sorry, did you want me to review these? They are so good but we love caramel and it is a great snack for me. These were yummy and chewy and now I want to get some more.

PR Bar Yogurt Berry ($1.67) – These are just not my favorite but I’m not a huge energy bar kind of person. Being that these are gluten free I’m going to pass this over to my neighbor since a couple of her kids need to eat this way.

Mutti Tomato Paste ($6.44) – I laughed a bit when I saw this one. I watch Rachel Ray most days and she always says to have Tomato Paste in a tube so you can squeeze it out and it’s just not something that I normally do but I say that I should start. I of course never remember to buy it at the store and now I don’t have to since it came in my box. I need to come up with something to make with my new paste.  I’m very excited for it now.

Better Oats Maple and Brown Sugar ($6.10) – Nope, nope, nope. Just not going to happen. I do not like oatmeal at all so this is getting passed along. They sent a full box which is great but someone else will be enjoying these pouches.

This month DegustaBox did a split campaign and people could have gotten multiple drink items based on their information. Since they sent me a box to review I got to sample multiple of the items.

SkinnyGirl Peach Bellini ($4.99) – This screams girls night into me.  We were just talking about having a movie night and I know we will knock this out quickly.

Cafe Bustelo Instant Coffee ($1.64) – I’ll be passing this one on to my college age sister since they drink coffee no matter what the kind.

Zenify Natural Stress Relief ($2.90) – I’m letting this one get cold before I dive into it. My boys are about ready to track out from school for three weeks so I’ll be ready for a bit of stress relief.

Wiltons Salted Caramel Candy Melts ($1.99) – More caramel!!! I’m planning on adding this to the top of some brownies or maybe to some apples while my boys are home in a couple weeks. We always make fun creations and yummy treats and they will like to drizzle this over something.

Bush’s Hummus Made Easy and Garbanzo Beans ($3.39) – Oh my goodness I LOVE hummus and have always thought of making it myself but then I don’t have all the needed items to do that. The Hummus Made Easy pack has the required spices to do just that. This is another item that will be great for my next girls night and they will appreciate it so much more then my boys will.

Wild Planet Organic Roasted Chicken Breast ($4.99) – Another not-gonna-happen-for-me item. I just can’t do chicken in a can. The thought of it really just disgusts me but I know that many people really like it. I’m going to pass this on to a friend who I know uses canned chicken in some recipes.

Chiridos chips ($1.49 each) – These were pretty good. My boys and I liked them but then I just read the information and saw that they have cricket protein in them. Uhm, yes, cricket protein which skeeves me out but I’m sure they will think is awesome. I’m going to share that with them when they get home.

Felix Lingonberry Preserves – Another not-so-much-for-me item since I’m not a jam type eater but these have my seasoning to them so maybe I can find a recipe that mixes this in there. It was not on the list so I’m going with this being another of the split campaign items and with spiced apples and cinnamon it sounds more like a fall item. I’m sure we will use if for something later in the year on a cool day.

DegustaBox sent an interesting box this month. While not all the items were for me, I know people who will love them and I’ll be glad to pass them along. They always send such a great variety and decent size packaging so you can really get a sample of what something really tastes like. I can’t wait to have my next girl’s night so I can try out the items for that and then see what newness they send me next month to try out and sample.

Have you tried DegustaBox? Happy eating!

Send the oatmeal my way. I enjoyed the review.

I got the Skinny Girl Peach Bellini tea, which I enjoyed – I love green tea anyway, and having it in k-cups was a plus. That’s a big box, too, with 18 k-cups. I like oatmeal but don’t have the energy or patience to deal with steel cut oats on their own. Having them in an instant oatmeal form is nice. Not something I eat all the time, but I do like it once in a while. Like you, I’ve thought about getting tomato paste in a tube but never actually bought it. Need to try it out. It makes sense, since many recipes call for just a little and the canned kind is so hard to keep unless you’re making a bunch of spaghetti sauce or something like that (not the way I cook for just myself). While I like hummus, making a whole batch of it isn’t something I’ll do, so that will get passed on to my college student grandson, along with the PR Bar thing – I had my fill of granola back in the 60s and don’t want or need bars of it. I always liked the Swedish pancakes at IHOP, which have lingonberries, so I’m thinking the lingonberry spread might be good on pancakes. I don’t understand why it wasn’t on the info sheet, especially since they sent an email about it being their featured item for the month. Haven’t been brave enough to try the cricket flour chips yet. The other things I will use (except the caramels, which disappeared quite fast).
