Information Card

This is the information card, telling you what’s in the box.

Here are the items that came in the March Culture Carton. I’m excited about the Grid It!

Culture Carton sent the March book of the month. George Orwell’s 1984, in plenty of time for the April movie viewing. The movie 1984 was in theaters on April 4th, 2017 as a protest against the current administration. Great timing, Culture Carton!

The 1984 60th-Anniversary Edition by George Orwell ($10.87) I am about a third of the way through the book and agree with Culture Carton’s decision to include the book. I’m glad I have 1984 now because it was on my bucket list of classics to read.

According to Target

Written in 1948, 1984 was George Orwell’s chilling prophecy about the future. And while 1984 has come and gone, Orwell’s narrative is more timely that ever. 1984 presents a “negative utopia,” that is at once a startling and haunting vision of the world—so powerful that it is completely convincing from start to finish. No one can deny the power of this novel, its hold on the imaginations of entire generations of readers, or the resiliency of its admonitions—a legacy that seems to grow, not lessen, with the passage of time.

Grid It Extra Small

The Grid It Extra Small ($11.99)  Measures W:7″ x D:0.375″ x H:5″. It fits in my messenger bag that I use for my college classes.

It keeps my phone and accessories organized. I like it so much that I hope they include a larger size Grid it in a future box.

I was excited to see this because I keep my phone on silent and am constantly losing it. The XY FindIt ($25.00) will ring near my phone even though it is silent.

The app (available in the app store and google play) uses Bluetooth to locate items. I like that it’s small enough to attach to my keys.

The Mike’s Hot Honey (1.88 oz. $3.33) gets around. The honey is made in the Bronx with New York Wildflower Honey and Chilies. Next Culture Carton included a recipe for Detroit Style Pizza. Now I am hungry for Chicago Deep Dish Pizza.

I am very pleased with March’s Culture Carton. I really like 1984 and Grid It. It all fits well with the political climate.

Never heard of this one. I think women could enjoy this box too. Been tempted to buy a Grid-it- just need to figure out what size I need.
