I received two soft cover books and a bookmark!

Here’s the front of the product info card, which is in a convenient bookmark form.

The back of the bookmark gave a tiny blurb about each book.

The Week Before the Wedding by Beth Kendrick ($15 $9.55) This book is listed as a “romantic comedy” so I can’t wait to see what happens, plus I love a feel-good book. Which man will the heroine choose?

Beth Kendrick sweeps you off your feet with a captivating tale of how even the best-laid plans can falter at the altar.

After enduring a chaotic childhood, Emily McKellips yearns for a drama-free life, complete with a white picket fence. Her dreams are about to come true: She has a stellar career, a gorgeous house, and a fiancé any woman would die for. But as friends and family arrive in picturesque Valentine, Vermont, for her wedding, an uninvited guest shows up.

Ryan is Emily’s first husband from a disastrous starter marriage. They wed on a whim, only to discover that combustible chemistry couldn’t ensure a happily ever after. But Ryan is no longer the headstrong boy she left behind. He’s now a successful film producer who just happens to be scouting a resort in Valentine with his adorable retriever in tow.

As the bridesmaids revolt and the mothers of the bride and groom do battle, Emily is surprised to discover new sides of both her ex and her fiancé. She thought she had life and love all figured out, but the next seven days might change her mind—and her heart.

The Wishing Hill by Holly Robinson ($15 $9.48) This book features love, loss, secrets, and mother/daughter relationships and sounds like it might bring me to tears.

What if everything you knew about your life was wrong?

Years ago, Juliet Clark gave up her life in California to follow the man she loved to Mexico and pursue her dream of being an artist. Now her marriage is over, and she’s alone, selling watercolors to tourists on the Puerto Vallarta boardwalk.

When her brother asks her to come home to wintery New England and care for their ailing mother, a flamboyant actress with a storied past, Juliet goes reluctantly. She and her self-absorbed mother have always clashed. Plus, nobody back home knows about her divorce—or the fact that she’s pregnant and her ex-husband is not the father.

Juliet intends to get her mother back on her feet and return to Mexico fast, but nothing goes as planned. Instead she meets a man who makes her question every choice and reawakens her spirit, even as she is being drawn into a long-running feud between her mother and a reclusive neighbor. Little does she know that these relationships hold the key to shocking secrets about her family and herself that have been hiding in plain sight.…

I love that BookCase.Club sends picks that are highly rated, both on Amazon and Goodreads! This month’s selections are very much chick lit and I can’t wait to see how they turn out! April’s books totaled $19.03, which is more than the price of the subscription plus shipping.

What did you think of this month’s choices? Have you tried any of the BookCase Club subscriptions?
