This spring Birchbox released the new Limited Edition “Power Beauty” Box in collaboration with Reese Witherspoon’s lifestyle brand Draper James!

A product should make us feel lovely—and work as hard as we do. That’s why we teamed up with Draper James (and Reese Witherspoon!) to curate this box of multitasking powerhouses. Think: a luxe treatment gel that transforms into a toner, a hydrating lipstick (in a works-with-everything red), an exclusive Draper James pouch for on-the-go touch ups, and more.

This box is $58 with a promised $100+ value.

This box features multitasking powerhouses!

The back of the card details all the items and describes why they’re amazing!

The Birchbox Limited Edition Draper James Box! ($58) contains:

Draper James Exclusive Trinket Tray: This item is exclusive to the box, but this nearly identical tray is $18.

3″ x 3″ and super charming! It’s perfect for catching rings and earrings and has a fun, positive message (and an adorable blue gingham check!).

Draper James EXCLUSIVE Makeup Pouch ($15?)

This makeup pouch is exclusive to this box – and has a cute saying – touch up and go for it! – in metallic gold!

It’s high quality and well constructed and even uses wipable material inside and out.

It holds a ton – my husband stuck everything from the box back into the pouch!

Dr. Jart+ Pore Minimalist Black Charcoal Sheet ($7.50)

I think this is the first charcoal sheet mask I’ve ever used, and from one of my favorite skincare brands! It’s designed to tighten and clean pores.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O ($4.40) No rinse fragrance free micellar water – sign me up for the makeup remover that doesn’t need washed off! Sometimes I just don’t have the time to deal with cleanser in my hair and I leave my makeup on instead of removing it. This item fits perfectly in the curation principles for this box.

Grab & Go Pony Tube ($12)

Cute no-snag pony holders in all various neutrals. These are great for long, thick hair!

Smashbox Indecent Exposure Mascara ($23) The handle for this tube of mascara is flocked, which is disconcerting!

This gave me great volume and length, and quickly (no fooling around!). Great find!

Ouai Treatment Mask ($13.33) You know what I love about this mask? You put it on DRY hair for 5-10 minutes, chill (yes, that’s what it says, the bottle told me to chill out!), and then rinse off. It worked great for my hair, which is admittedly fine and short. If you have silicone product build-up issues, this wouldn’t be the product for you. PLUS, the full-size comes in packets, and I’m not really sure that would work for everyone (I certainly prefer the tube).

Living proof. Restore Instant Protection Spray ($8.51) Perfect double duty product for styling, protecting from heat tools, and protecting against the sun. Wait, that’s 3! Living Proof is amazing.

Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner ($3.38) Sunday Riley tends to show up in quite a number of Birchbox limited edition boxes. This is great, because it’s a luxury brand that you won’t typically find in a subscription. This smells REALLY great, like I want to wear its limey cucumber scent all over my body. As for the product claims, this clay based gel toner (is that even a toner?) seemed to mattify my skin a smidge

Lipstick Queen Eden Lipstick ($24) I think the packaging is so cute!

This clear red is actually full of sparkles – but they just provide a hint of glimmer, not lip glitter.

The semisheer formula is buildable and it’s like a pinky red on the lip. A great start if you’re not accustomed to wearing reds. Bonus – it had a teeth whitening effect for me too!

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer ($10.57) Wow – I receive lots of Porefessional samples but this one is about twice the size as usual!

This product is pretty much a staple for those that need to camouflage their pores. It’s a tinted primer that you pat in to provide a base for your foundation and create a look of invisible pores.

Finally there’s a coupon code for 20% off your first Draper James purchase.
Don’t forget to Add a Mystery Sample Pack before you check out! Here’s what I received in mine:

Juara Radiance Enzyme Scrub

L’Oreal Mythic Oil

Bummer on the foil packet but yay for Juara!

I came up with an approximate $140 value for this $58 box! It’s a lot lower than the estimated $178 value but I find that it’s typical with Birchbox limited edition boxes – and definitely doesn’t diminish the quality or value of what’s actually in the box, which is great! I was really impressed with the items selected and I thought that Reese Witherspoon’s influence and perspective was really evident in the selections. Great box, and I love the lifestyle goodies!
