I’m loving the packaging already!

April’s Beauty Discovery is the Jungle Glow Enzyme Cleanser + Mask.

In search of her own pot of gold, alchemist and LILFOX creator, Alexis Rose, ventured deep into the enchanted rainforests of Hawaii to discover a raw, multi-flower honey collected by a small tribe of loving beekeepers. This sweet nectar proved to be the perfect base for Jungle Glow, an exotic, skin-illuminating cleanser and treatment mask that gently exfoliates and stimulates with natural honey enzymes.

April’s Beauty Discovery is valued at $101.

The information card is loaded with info on this month’s brand and featured items! Every month includes instructions on how to use the included products, plus an extended ritual.

Every Beauty Hero box comes with its own sidekick item, and this month it’s the Cleopatra Restorative Milk + Honey Beauty Mask.

LILFOX Jungle Glow Enzyme Cleanser + Mask ($75)

The hero product in my April 2017 Beauty Heroes box! The box is gorgeous!

This combo mask and cleanser uses a base of raw honey from Hawaii dosed up with organic raw cacao, organic rosehip oil and maracuja oil for a boost of antioxidants and fatty acids. There’s also Amazonian white clay but what really wows is the scent from this product – grapefruit, vanilla, neroli and bitter orange combine with the honey and chocolate scents for an intoxicating treat. It’s like if Mugler’s Angel was an all-natural face mask, this would be it!

The container says to apply to damp skin and rinse – or apply and massage in for exfoliation – the clay has a microgrit to do the job (which was surprisingly gritty). The container says leave on for 5-30 minutes as a mask.

Beauty Heroes has 2 primary methods that it suggests – as a primary (makeup/face) cleanser or as a second cleanse, where you leave it on for 1-5 minutes. That’s what I did. There’s also an expert beauty ritual involving the sidekick!

LILFOX Cleopatra Restorative Milk + Honey Beauty Mask ($26) Beauty Heroes suggests mixing this mask with water or toning mist (FABULOUS idea!) to make a thin paste, apply, and leave on for 10-20 minutes. You’ll rinse off and apply the Jungle Glow for 10-20 minutes, and follow with a toning mist and serum.

I didn’t read through the entire sheet when I opened this container (I wish, like the Jungle Glow, they’d shown the product on the card – then I’d have been clued in that it was a powder mask!). This mask uses crushed rose petals, coconut milk, honey and French rose clay with natural papaya and pineapple enzymes, camu camu and baobab superfruits, along with LILFOX’s signature scent blend! The full size product costs $88 and is a pre-launch – exclusively available at the moment to subscribers. I was happy this was the sidekick and not the other way around, because I’m a lot more likely to use the Jungle Glow and this mask every once in a while for additional softening. The Beauty Heroes site also suggests incorporating it straight into Jungle Glow, and I’m trying that next.

The value on this box was impressive – $101 retail. I’m really enjoying the one brand a month product discovery model – and there’s more than enough product to use all month long or more. It’s worth noting that there’s an every day 15% discount in the Beauty Heroes store to buy more of what you love best!
