Let’s find out how awesome!

All the items in the Awesome April 2017 Box! I chose the adult-themed box. The choices were grown up or family but there are only three of us in our family (the family size box asks for 4 people). This was totally okay however as my daughter is 13 and these games definitely fit what we would be looking for all of us.

An information card detailing all the items of awesomeness is in the box.

Muscle Beach Boys “Dumbbell Dwayne.” This is an odd but funny toy. Wind it up and it lifts weights. I’m not sure who this would be for, though.

High Roller Dice Game – Cheatwell Games $9.95.  This is an intense game of knowing when to hold and when to fold. The box contains a set of five roller dice, play money, score pad, pencil, instructions, and a dice shaker box.

Royal Fluster – Patch Games – $12.00. This card game can be played by two to four players. Included in the pack are the instructions, 40 playing cards, and 13 fluster cards. The rules are pretty simple: the first player to obtain a Royal Flush (10 through Ace in the same suit) wins. It is recommended for ages 8 and up but also simple enough for younger kids.

Market of Altruien – Mayfair Games – $18.00. An interesting family-friendly game meant for two to six players. Takes about an hour to play. The player who has the greatest wealth and acquires three status symbols will win the game. Make sure you have your thinking cap on when you play, and watch out for the wily thief!

Funko POP! Button – $5.99. This is a cool looking button. Anything Star Wars is generally a great thing!

It’s Awesome Time Button. Another button is included in this box. My daughter is a huge fan of buttons so this totally works out.

I’m a huge fan of Awesome Pack! There were plenty of games to play and I liked the variety. My pack is basically for two adults but, as you can see, there are games for more than just two and the kiddo can play as well. The folks at Awesome Pack have a questionnaire when you sign up and that helps to ensure your pack is as awesome as you need it to be.

Only Awesome Pack severely drops in it’s awesomeness when they don’t actually ship their product out. Three months in a row I’ve had to contact customer service to track down when my box is going to arrive. Silly me thinks that when it says “January Box” it should actually arrive in January.

I’d like to add a warning to any new customers who are thinking about purchasing this box: This company is no longer running. The customer service has not replied to me inquiries, their Facebook page hasn’t been updated, and boxes have stopped. I purchased a two month subscription for family and they recieved the first box fine (in December) but since then there have been no communications or updates and the second box (set for January) is still “pending” and has yet to arrive. I’ve sent multiple e-mails to them and their Facebook and have yet to hear a reply. I was charged for two months and I have little hope that the money will be returned to me. So in an effort to help other people not lose their money, I wanted to post an updated review (which wasn’t paid for – most of the good reviews you see are from people that were either paid or gifted boxes, no people with real, active subscriptions). So again, I cannot warn enough again this company.
