WOW Box is a Japanese candy subscription coming right from Japan! For only $24.99 (Regular) or $34.99 (Large) a month, you can enjoy Japanese sweets  and snacks delivered to your door every month. WOW Box did some restructuring of the subscription model last year; my last review was in August and was of their New & Limited box this. The box that I received for this review is the Kawaii & Beauty box – a box featuring cute characters as well as calorie-wise and health conscious snacks as well. WOW Box no longer sends out printed information cards, but product information is available on their website.

Pikachu Corn Potage Crisps I am not a huge fan of corn normally, but Japan makes it savoury and delicious in their snacks. And Pikachu is just so cute!

Olive Oil & Black Truffle Crisps I’m not a fan of truffles so will be passing these on, but how decadent do these sound?

Chibeans These remind me of the similar pea snack variety! These are not quite as puffy and retain more of their bean shape.

Vegips These. Are. Addicting. Slices of onion, kabocha pumpkin, and potatoes with nothing but salt. Because there are onions, it adds the natural flavour to the milder of the other two.

Fran Strawberry These reminded me a lot of Pocky! These are a new product from Meiji.

The Chocolate Also from Meiji, who makes some of the best darn chocolate in Japan. This is a bar of milk chocolate. It’s creamy and rich, and I really liked it!

Calpis Peach Collagen Drink Calpis is a yoghurt drink that is really refreshing. I haven’t tried their new Beauty line, but it contains 2000mg of collagen which helps promote healthy skin.

Sanrio Choco Hana Arare Arare are small rice crackers, and these are chocolate flavoured! I love the cute Sanrio packaging featuring Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and Little Twin Stars! (I spy My Melody too!)

Ninja Meshi Peach Gummy UHA makes awesome gummies (they even have a Red Bull/energy drink gummy!)  because they have a harder shell and a chewy inside.

Fuwarinka Gummy “Beauty Rose” gummies that include vitamin c and collagen. I love rose-flavoured candies so I really enjoyed these.

This was an interesting box! I enjoyed all the snacks and I was intrigued by the kawaii beauty concept. I think they did a good job putting it together. I don’t think the snacks are particularly unhealthy in general — moderation is always key! But I liked the focus on cute packaging and on items that might be a bit less sugary. The collagen drink and gummies, and the three veggie snacks were my favourite!
