Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 4-7 items ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skin care. Best of all, they are 100% cruelty-free! Monthly recurring shipments are $22.95 with free shipping in the USA (there is an additional charge for other countries). This sub is also available in 6 or 12-month terms that do not renew but that do earn you a discount.

Vegan Cuts doesn’t offer customization and sends items that are suitable for almost everyone. They promise not to send foundation or other items that match a specific skin tone and instead send makeup items that are as inclusive as possible with possible variations in shades. They also promise a value of at least $30 but have sent boxes that are significantly above that mark. Vegan Cuts sends deluxe “travel” sized or full-sized products and rarely sends single use packets.

There was a product information card that included a coupon code for a shop purchase and info on how you can win a free box by sharing your box on social media.

The flip side of the card listed each item and the retail value. March’s box is designed to help you “explore new, blossoming beauty!”

I was just introduced to this brand in another beauty box and was excited to see Londontown Lakur in BRILL-ant  ($16). Londontown is made in the USA with color names inspired by the UK and is 9-free to boot.

Londontown describes this shade as “metallic-rose,” Vegan Cuts calls it “metallic mauve,” but I was thinking “chrome lilac greige.” Either way, it’s a head turner. I keep catching my nails in the light and it’s pretty shiny.

I am in love with the scent of Hempz Fresh Coconut & Watermelon Herbal Body Moisturizer ($3.05). I was surprised at how long the fruity coconut scent stayed with me, and it reminded me of the beach. 100% hemp seed oil along with shea butter, coconut oil, and aloe did a great job of moisturizing my skin and the lotion rubbed in easily, too!

Shea Moisture Fruit Fusion Coconut Water Shea Butter Lip Balm ($3.99) isn’t the smoothest lip balm I’ve tried but it has a nice flavor and is 100% natural. Shea butter and coconut juice are some of the notable ingredients, along with mangosteen, camu camu, and apple extracts.

Plantlife Detox Therapeutic Mineral Bath ($5.95) (Some subscribers received Relax). Fleur de Sel sea salt and olive oil are some of the ingredients and when added to a hot bath they may help draw out impurities and remove free radicals. Not exactly sure which essential oils were used but let’s call it uplifting – maybe eucalyptus and citrus? It left my skin soft, too.

These next two items are from Modicum Skin Care. Essential Cleanser ($9.33) is a lightly foaming cleanser that uses sea kelp as its soap. I have the Modicum Serum, which has a strong scent, but maybe my cleanser is off or I am just super sensitive to smells because this was downright stinky. The cleanser can be used by itself or you can add a teaspoon of the Essential Exfoliant ($6), which is comprised of methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) and aloe. MSM contains sulfur, which may help reduce rosacea redness. It turned the cleanser into a gentle exfoliant.

I was very pleased with the items in my March Vegan Cuts Beauty Box! The lotion was outstanding and I am happy to have another nail polish from Londontown. This box had a value of $44.32, which is almost twice the price paid for the box!
