Tea Box Express is a monthly subscription box containing a brand-name, whole-leaf tea (either loose leaf or in a pyramid bag) plus 3-4 other tea related items, which may include infusers, measuring spoons, or food items like chocolate or cookies. It costs $25.50 for a monthly box, plus $6.49 for shipping. They offer 1, 3, or 6-month terms and each will automatically renew until canceled (or choose the gift option, which doesn’t renew).

There was a card inside that told how you could win a free box by sharing your photos on social media!
Everything in my box! Tea Box Express does a great job at presentation! I received my items in a sturdy cardboard box and everything was cushioned with shredded paper. Tea Box Express aims to “deliver a tea party to your door every month”.
Metolius Artisan Tea was the featured tea brand this month and their Little Bear Herbal Tea ($6?) features all organic ingredients.
Green rooibos, pear, ginger, lemongrass, lavender, and vanilla are in this blend that smells like lavender and mint but has a light lemongrass flavor with the barest hint of ginger.
Cardamom Rose Mate Tea ($6?) is also organic and has yerba mate, cinnamon, rose petals, pink peppercorns, and cardamom.
This tea was light in color after steeping and all I could taste was cardamom!
There were two cards from Tea Thoughts ($3.50 each) which are perfect for tea enthusiasts. They feature tea puns and come with white envelopes and are blank on the inside. I like them very matcha!
I have a bazillion lip balms but this is my first tea inspired flavor! BeauTea Studio Earl Grey Organic Lip Balm ($5) is made with coconut oil, sweet almond oil, beeswax, vitamin E, and pure essential oil. It smells/tastes wonderful and I love the unique flavor! Oh yeah, it also left my lips super soft and smooth!
Moonstruck Hot Lips Truffles ($10) made me laugh – look at them, they’re LIPS!
I also review beauty boxes and I really want a lipstick in this shade. It has a touch of gold sparkle!
The inside of this truffle is chili-infused but not too spicy, with just a hint of the French Espelette pepper inside. If you live in the Portland area you can visit Moonstruck’s coffee shops!
I loved my Tea Box Express, as usual! I thought the items were cute for the month of love and got a kick out of the chocolates. My box had a value of around $34! This box always impresses me with its curation and top-notch items and I look forward to discovering the delights within every time it shows up!
