Scentbird For Men is a monthly cologne and eau de parfum subscription. Each month, you get a thirty-day supply of your chosen cologne in a deluxe-size sprayer.
When you join you fill out a profile – including three of your favorite designer fragrances – then you make a wishlist of colognes you’d like to try. Your first month includes a case to hold your current cologne sprayer. You can add extra cases to an existing subscription for $12.95.
DEAL: Get your second month free when you use this link!
February is my first month as a Scentbird subscriber. Each new subscriber will receive with their first month a little cologne vial case and velvet holder. The case is sleek and is great for protecting your cologne, so it doesn’t spray by itself in a bag or something. You just twist it to spray.
Scentbird decants the cologne from the manufacturer’s bottle to a little glass vial with a 8 ml sprayer. The colognes are 100% authentic, and you save a lot of money because of the repackaging and single-month portioning. Simply put, this is cheaper than a full-size bottle.
A teaser card was included! It’s a sneak peek at next month’s featured cologne.
The back gives you more info about the featured scent next month. It describes the main notes of the fragrance – if you see your favorite component notes listed, it can be a great way to get ideas for your queue – what you receive the next month is determined by your queue.
There’s also a card that shows you how to work the vial and how to change what cologne you take with you. I was completely clueless about how to use this until I saw it. You can swap out your colognes! How cool is that! I’ll often have to go somewhere after working out at the gym and I bring my cologne in my gym bag, but I worry something will happen and the bottle will break. The case seems pretty durable, so that doesn’t worry me now!
My February selection was Amouage Interlude Man.
This scent is strong on your person but doesn’t shout “Hey I’m wearing cologne!” Anyone who is more than 10 feet away probably wouldn’t smell it. The top notes are bergamot, oregano, all spice. The heart notes are amber, opopanax, incense, and citrus. The bottom notes are leather, oud, patchouli, and sandalwood. It was a little tricky discerning the other scents since the incense stands out so much. I imagine this cologne being at its best in the spring, which is perfect timing!
This is my first ever cologne subscription. I was very pleased with what I received. I like the option of choosing what cologne comes each month. These are high-end colognes, all of which I can’t afford to buy full-size (yet). Hopefully, through Scentbird, I will find scents for different occasions and a signature scent too.
FYI – there is no gender divide with this subscription – ladies can add men’s fragrances and vice versa, and you can share if you’d like, or get a second subscription if you find it impossible.
