There’s a note about the theme for the month, regardless of the personalised book chosen for each subscriber. For February, we meet up with Oscar Wilde and Freedom, Books, Flowers and the Moon! There’s also a mention of their Facebook group where we can share our impressions on the box. I love these little details!

Every month, we get a little something to drink. I’m so happy that for February, they chose a more unique tea than usual!

It is a loose leaf, and I haven’t seen any tea bag as mentioned in the note. It’s not a problem for me, I like loose tea and this blend smells delicious with rose and lavender.

The print this month is a quote by Oscar Wilde: “With freedom, books, flowers and the moon, who could not be happy?” I really like this print.

As usual, we get a bookmark and for February, Black History Month, we received a bookmark with a quote by Frederick Douglass: “Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.” We also received more Oscar Wilde inspired little goodies. A Key on a red ribbon to represent freedom, lots of flower petals mixed in the packaging, and an awesome Rubber Moon Coaster. Yes, a Moon coaster! How cool is that!

It’s pretty thick and will not scratch any surface! My husband asked me if there was a second one for him. Sadly, only one for me!

I love how they package the book in a bright tissue paper!

This month, I’ve received a book for younger reader, The Nocturnals by Tracey Hecht and I cannot be more happy by their choice! This book is gorgeous!

And there’s a signed bookplate inside the book, score!

Every chapters are illustrated with a single image, by Kate Liebman, and they are all so pretty!

In the first book of the critically acclaimed middle grade series The Nocturnals, we meet three unlikely friends—Dawn, a serious fox, Tobin, a sweet pangolin, and Bismark, the loud mouthed, pint sized sugar glider. Discover the friendships, teamwork, and humor, as the Nocturnal Brigade solves the unpredictable mysteries of the night.

In The Mysterious Abductions, animals are disappearing without a trace. With the help of a gentle wombat, a jittery jerboa, a band of coyotes and some kooky bats, the brigade journeys to the depths of the earth where they find themselves in a wacky, high stakes game that will determine all of their survival!

How can you not fall in love with this description?

And it was a lovely book! It was about adventure, friendship, redemption, trusting people that are different or intimidating, and also giving a second chance to someone to prove they can do good even after a mistake. It was adorable, with suspense and mysteries! I was smiling most of the book, except for how they used the Kiwi birds and the tarantula, but it turned out okay for everyone! Tobin the pangolin was my favorite character : shy and loyal. And I enjoyed the four bats too! I know younger readers will enjoy this book, and who wouldn’t enjoy a hockey game between crocodiles and a bunch of coyotes and other animals? I sure did! I’ll keep this book until my nieces and nephews are old enough to read and enjoy this book.

I loved my February’s box! The Oscar Wilde goodies theme was nice with the moon coaster (mine), the key and ribbon charm (for freedom) and the tea. I adore the book and it’s a great book for kids and adults as well! Seriously, go get the book!

Once you have received and enjoy your box, you can fill out a survey about your experience so they can send you an even better box next time! This is a great gift box for that reader in your life who seemed to have read everything!
