Play! by Sephorais a monthly subscription box that brings only the best and exclusive Sephora beauty and makeup samples. The subscription costs $10 per month, and you’ll get 5 deluxe beauty products, playlists, a fragrance bonus item, plus coupons you can use when you visit in-store.

That little card is a PLAY! Pass that will get you 50 extra Beauty Insider points with a purchase from the box – in-store only.

Your subscription also entitles you to PLAY! Date meetups if your store participates. I don’t even have a Sephora (not even a JCP one) but this box totally excites me even without those experiences – I love the high end brands every month for just $10.

The theme is “The Gleam Team” featuring beauty goodies that will help you create a luminous, lustrous look for unparalleled radiance.

This fold out poster shows a list of all the items included in this box plus beauty trivia and tips. You can access all of the information and also watch the videos right on the Sephora site or use the app to scan the sheet for more info!

Everything in my box! My variation was box 444.  See the spoilers for other variations here.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick ($5?) I’m not sure why this shade is golden pink, because it’s totally copper!

The pigment on this shadow is out of this world – so creamy and bold. This is beautiful and there’s so much product. Perfect sample!

Benefit Watt’s Up Cream to Powder Highlighter ($7.5) I’m excited that Sephora is going for the more unusual highlighter products in the March boxes! First example – this cream to powder highlighter!

Super easy to apply and blend with a beautiful champagne glow!

What’s really neat is that the full size has a little blender thingy on the end, but I think you have to be really committed to highlighting for that – I like washing out my applicators, so I’m super happy with the deluxe travel size.

Josie Maran Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm ($7.20) Josie Maran’s line is all about the healing, moisturizing, and anti-aging benefits of argan oil. I didn’t find that it worked as a balm or a moisturizer in any way – but instead left my skin with that awesome blurring effect. So, I liked this product, just not in the way I expected. One of the benefits it has over similar products is that it doesn’t have an oily texture (I’ve found that similar products on the lower end sometimes do). It has a very slight pearlescent glow in the cream itself, but that wasn’t really apparent on my skin.

Bobbi Brown on top, Benefit in the middle, and I even swatched the Josie Maran, because I think you can tell the difference.

GLAMGLOW GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow ($6.86) For some reason I didn’t swatch this one, which is like a pearlescent champagne moisturizer. Most importantly it smells like orange creamsicles. I’m really happy with this item and after I use it up I’ll have to consider purchasing the full size – it’s perfect for drier skin like mine because it includes jojoba oil, shea butter, and ceramides. Judging by the reviews on Sephora, this is a love or hate item! I did see that GlamGlow makes VOLCASMIC, a matte glow moisturizer. Interesting!

Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast ($15) Sign me up for dry volume products! This isn’t a dry shampoo – it’s a volumizing and texturizing spray. It’s designed to be sprayed from root to ends, then tousled. My main issue is at my crown, so I focused there and got some nice results! NO residue or stickiness! I loved how easy this was to apply.

Chloe Fleur de Parfum ($1?) This perfume contains notes of: Lemon Essence, Absolute Verbena, Freesia, Rose, Cherry Blossom, White Cedar Essence, Bitter Almond, Amber. When I spritzed it on (and I note there’s a sprayer cap!) I immediately thought to myself that it was super perfumey, but it instantly burst into a beautiful citrusy breath of spring, and I think it’s fabulous. It also smells the teensiest bit like cookies. We love cookies!

About $43 in items were in this $10 beauty box! It may be all the glow and shimmer I can handle in one box – but it really allowed me to sample a few different products in the same broad category, which was super fun – a little bit like going to Sephora and sampling all the goodies in person!

Are you a Sephora Play subscriber? What did you think of the box this month??
