Normally, there is a card that tells a little about the theme of the box as well as how to connect via social media. This month’s box feature is Prep. Unfortunately for me, my card grew legs and walked away while I was admiring this month’s items.

Cocoa Butter Mothers Land & Sea Detoxifying Mud Masque ($18 for 2 oz). Easily mixed together with tap water to form a thin paste, went on smoothly and smells wonderful. Unfortunately for me, I could not leave it on until it hardened because my overly sensitive skin began to itch around the edges turning a lovely shade of red. My daughter, on the other hand, was left with beautifully soft skin that was fresh and clean.

Thou Shalt Kuvit Eye Shadow by Kuvit Beauty in Corazon ($8). I am in love with this eyeshadow! It’s bold, easy to work with, and wipes off with simple water. It’s made in the USA and it’s cruelty-free, I can’t wait to get my hands on the other colors they have available.

Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner ($.42/ounce). This combination smells wonderful and left my hair squeaky clean with lots of moisture plus shine. I used this with the Argan Hair Oil also by Creme of Nature for spectacular curls with no additional product, I’m sold on these items and happy to report the full sized bottles are very cost effective.

Olay Ultra Moisture Body Wash ($0.50) I love Olay body wash and have been using it for years! I’ve not found another body wash that helps lock in moisture and leaves my skin lightly scented with freshness. I think all ladies should treat themselves to something this luxurious.

SmashBox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Sample. This oil free primer goes on super smooth, almost invisible. It created a wonderful base for my powder foundation leaving my face looking (in my opinion) years younger.

Manna Kadar Lash Extending Primer ($24). I’ve never worn anything that will extend my lashes because they are so long already I have issues keeping my glasses clean. I do like the idea of wearing it alone at night as a conditioner. It’s strange to me how this is so white but dries crystal clear, I’m interested in seeing if my lashes are less likely to break while using this product.

Gorgeous Cosmetics iLine Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Black ($27). The incredibly fine tip makes this pen handle very easily. I love that it doesn’t smudge easily and it’s the richest black I have seen in a while. This is going to be a great finishing touch to dramatic eyes or just for a day at the park.

We are Onyx Box keeps sending me the best in beauty items. I love this month’s theme of preparing for spring by getting hair and body polished to be kissed by the sun this summer. I’m super excited by the eye shadow that is not only very affordable but also easy to apply. The quality of items brought to my doorstep each month makes me happy and fall in love with this subscription over and over again. I do wish they hadn’t given up the vibrantly colored boxes but as long as they keep me moving in the right direction with my beauty regime I think I”ll survive.
