Lootaku is a monthly geek subscription box from Hong Kong packed with high-quality geek and gamer items. The subscription costs $49.00 per month + shipping (currently about $17 to the US), and you’ll get 4-6 themed products, like plushies, action figures, memorabilia, etc., to satisfy your geeky cravings monthly – no fillers or promo items!

I like how the outside of the box is beautifully designed. A Chest – Full of Loot!

FYI – Lootaku dropped its price this year, reducing both the cost of the box and the shipping slightly, to the tune of about $7 in the US.

The theme this month is “DEATH.”

DEAL: If you’re looking to try it out, save 5% on your subscription – even longer lengths! Just use this link to get the deal.

The item information card, or “Loot Table,” is thick and glossy, with lots of detail. When there are variations, it typically lists each possible variation you might receive!

All the goodies inside my February Lootaku Box!

Exclusive Fullmetal Alchemist Human Transmutation Circle Coasters ($14) They may not appear that way, but these coasters are ceramic! (They’re just so glowy I felt I had to explain that one.)

This will surely get any Fullmetal Alchemist fan to squeal with joy. And even if you’re not, these are still cool coasters you can use at home or at work.

Great Eastern Entertainment Fullmetal Alchemist Alphonse Elric 8″ Plush ($16 on card, $24.99 on Amazon)

Another Fullmetal Alchemist item! This is an officially licensed plush made with high-quality materials. Ours didn’t quite stand up but we think we can get it to do so with a little manipulation.

Fullmetal Alchemist Edward Elric’s Pocket Watch Replica ($9)

It is Ed’s pocket watch! Suitable for cosplaying, but is also functional for everyday use.

Love the inscription! It reads Don’t Forget 3.Oct.11 And yes, it’s an actual watch. You can even adjust the time by twisting a button on the side.

So shiny! Perfect Fullmetal Alchemist item.

Bleach 13th Division Pin ($3)

The insignia on the 13th Division pin is a snowdrop, which symbolizes hope.

Inscribed on the back of the pin is the Bleach logo. What a nice way to wear one’s love for Bleach!

Bleach Hyorinmaru Replica With Stand ($12)

It’s a replica of the sword of Hitsugaya Toushiro, the 10th Division Captain. And it really looks like the real thing!

This display would be a nice talking piece for an anime/manga fan’s home!

Banpresto DXF Dark Souls Sculpt Collection Faraam Knight ($50)

It’s an Asia exclusive limited release item (it is yet to be released in stores!) and Lootaku subscribers are very lucky that this was included in the box!

It’s amazing how intricate and well-made this figure is!

The figure is attached to a black stand, ready to be displayed.

For those who are not familiar, Faraam Knight armor is a set of armor within Dark Souls 2. It is said to be blessed by the war god Faraam.

Here’s a look at the back of the figure!

By looking at the figure up close, you’ll realize how much effort was put into making this one-of-a-kind item.

From this angle, the figure looks like it’s real and it’s going to move anytime!

This early release Banpresto fig is absolutely amazing! I think any Lootaku subscriber would fall in love with this statue.

The price drop makes this box extra-impressive. The items were fantastic, from top franchises. I think the Dark Souls statue is tops for me, but the Fullmetal Alchemist items were great too – and I love how they snuck in a home item! This month was Anime heavy, but Lootaku mixes it up every month, and there’s always something new to anticipate!
